Learn German DeutschAkademie

It just has a bank of questions; they are not sorted into levels of language ability, because you get the same questions, regardless of what level you choose. It doesn't teach you anything, because the app is obviously designed with the assumption that whoever downloads it, understands German well enough, to understand pretty non-basic sentences, and solve them. For a beginner, it's completely useless. The only good thing about the app, is the free audio practice, on the web page it links to.

I've recently completed an A1 course with a high passing grade and will shortly begin A2. I was looking for an app to help me test and improve my grammar as I continue my learning. Having tested out the A1 course material on the app it is far more advanced than the level it claims, which is not helpful for me at this stage. I will be uninstalling for now and will perhaps revisit when I have learnt more German.

I have a good pass at B1 and am close to B2 standard. I selected level B1 and got high B2/C1 questions.

I just wish that we could login to our accounts and synchronise the statistics and the exercises which are already done on a PC. The exercises are really good and I like them. Thanks a lot.

I love it

Indeed this app is not good/ intended for learning, but it is so rich with good exercises for all levels. If you're currently enrolled for German classes, this app serves as a perfect companion, because it comprises exercises from all major learning materials: em, Moment mal!, Schritte, Tangram. Impressive! The interface could be better, but the content is really the best.

I have been learning well through the app. Thank you very much. ; one small bug I encountered is in the 'correct' counter. If I play again by pressing Next Exercise, suppose I got 50 correct at the end. And then if I press back twice it counts 60 for the previous exercise, without me even playing again. .. Its amazing the amount of stuff this app has for the,most different language levels. My only problem with this app is the size of the letters, too small for a confortable reading! Other than that, its a great app!

In Grammer section the lessons are not in order and I can see lesson 1 almost 10 times written there. All the section needs reorganization and in clear order for learner. For instance after 'noun' there should be 'pronoun' not 'adverb'.

If I could remove the ads then the app will get 5 stars.

I really like this app... I just don't know which way is best to learn german from that...I'm missing some kind of order for study..

Great app to have on the go for learning while books are huge and hard to carry

& no way to get rid of them

I like it a lot but it has a giant learning curve that took me a lot to get over. Not for beginners unless you're very adventurous.

Delighted to have found this app. My German comprehension and vocabulary are advanced but my grammar is appalling, so this is the perfect practice tool for me. The user interface ain't no duolingo, but at least I don't have to sit through 20 lessons of "wo ist der Bahnhof" first. Unlike any other language app I have tried so far, this should really lead an advanced speaker to fluency. Thanks!

This app is almost completely useless and really just consists of a bunch of random multiple choice tests all bundled together in a completely disorganised way. There are much better free online methods for language learning. What a disgrace!

Just say very good classified

A really good and useful app. So far I have loved it!

This app is not pretty, but has an insane amount of grammatical tests, which is great if this is what you're looking for. However, I find it very annoying that it doesn't track which exercises you already completed. There is so much stuff that it's very easy to get lost in it.

Great apps

Ich kann viel Deutsch während ich Muzik höre lernen und am besten finde ich, dass alles offline ist.Ich brauche keine Internet verbindung.Ich kann alle lektionen und grammatik lesen und üben.Mein Studium ist mehr einfacher.
