SmartMote for SmartWatch 2

Sometimes streaming can get choppy when you change music. But otherwise it works with all audio programs I've tried, soundcloud, Spotify and the built in mp3 player

All features work pretty well, however it would really be nice if the option to open a media player directly would exist. I'm currently using two apps to open and use a player. Its a small inconvenience.

Yes! Since the marshmallow update the Spotify app's smart functions were messed up on my Sony Z3. This app does a much better job and the volume buttons ACTUALLY WORK! Nice work to all involved. I haven't tried it with anything else but I have high hopes. I docked a star though because the album art dissappears once the watch comes out of sleep mode. Only way to get it back is stop and start the music on your phone.

This app is fantastic an use to work great with Deezer, but since a recent update with Deezer app they no longer work as expected, just a warning to other Deezer users

This music control for the SW2 cannot be beat. It does everything you want it to do for a music app on the watch. A pleasure to use indeed.

This is the best SW2 app available, every other paid app is trash but this is perfect. This should be paid or have a paid version, the author deserves the reward. No SW2 apps should be paid unless they meet the quality of this app.

Not so accurate though. The display of the album art is so hit and miss it gets to be frustrating.

It works with Pandora too but it crashes sometimes and butrons occasionally won't work

Works fine with Google Play and podkicker, but doesn't recognise deezer on my device. Nexus 5 and sw2

I wish there was a way to set a default music player. Instead I have to open my app, then the controller works. Sony sw 2

First time I used it, it crashed!

Used to work great but recently these buttons are completely non-responsive. Not working on Sony music player, Google music player or Poweramp music player. Since the description says it's now free..That perhaps means that the developers have now abandoned the app so dere myt not b anymore fixes....shame was one the best apps for SW2..

..however volume for Sonos does not work. Only increases the local phone volume, NOT the Sonos Zone volume. Can that be fixed?

Only downside is that there's no "playlist", no way to chose which song u want next without going on your phone, if that comes in the next update then it's a five star app for sure

Finally a music app for my SW2 that controls the actual music app I am currently using. For example, when I use the Amazon MP3 music app to listen to my Prime only music and tried to control the app with my SW2 using other SW2 widgets, a different music player would launch after hitting the "next" button, or "pause" and then "play" and begin playing music (Sony Music Player, Google Music Player, etc...). I installed this app and it works perfectly with the current music app I am using at the time. Thank you Jan!

Perfect application to have. It works perfectly for YouTube playlists, and supports YouTube key!

Not work on my ZenFone 2

Works like a charm

Since I did an system update to lollipop, it no longer works with Pandora. All I can get to work is the volume. Keeps say a music player in active. Please help,it use to work seamlessly. If I could get some help with this the rate would automatically hit 5 stars. Thanks.

Used to work fine on my XPeria Z3 Compact but now it doesn't show any song being played on my smartwatch 2. Not with Google Music or Sony Music app, please fix it as I bought this app for a reason

Definitely a 5 star app but Play/pause bottom on the app doesn't work with mp3 player(accountstudio)app which I use regularly for music on my phone..resolve this bug to get *****...!!

App itself works great. If I could add anything to it it would be an option to add a song to my liked ones (I'm listening through SoundCloud) in expandable menu.

The widget works with most players, as long as the player is running on the phone. Due to the bad sensitivity on my Watch, there is an annoying lag when operating it. Using swipe controls with volume is not recommended. Overall, it's a good app.

No album art on lollypop with rocket player. Still works though

Used to use Spotify remote for Spotify but doesn't work with the new version. Found this when looking for a replacement. This works the best! It works with all music apps I've used it shows album art like it's supposed to and basically replaces all other Audio remotes for the SmartWatch. This is all you'll ever need!

This app works amazing with Pandora. Love it!

Its not working too well with deezer atm while the play/pause and skip works you can no longer see what is playing unless you unlock the phone screen, which sorta defeats the idea of having the watch app. if the guy who made this is looking at these posts. please provide an update soon. thanks

Doesn't work

I was skeptical about the "Best" music app since few others claimed the same and left a lot to be desired. This little music app for the smart watch 2 is by far pretty impressive. As for "Best" I am not counting it out. Does have room for improvement and from what it offers now it is up there. Love it, minor problem since it isn't universally compatible with all music apps yet but the one I do use works fine. Love the album art and accurate artist/song title. It is the best at what it does.

Works great with soundcloud, displays the album artwork and the name of the song, you can change the volume and change songs. Works great, the best music player app I've tried for smart watch. If you have multiple music apps on your phone, it may have trouble distinguishing between them when you have multiple open. There is no feature to select which app you would like it to use which would be my only improvement that I would like to see (sometimes it controls Walkman instead of soundcloud). Best free app.

I use it to control music player on HTC One m7 while wearing headphones. The phone was sometimes erratic responding to wired headset controls, but this works fine. I also use it to control BBC iPlayer while casting to chromecast.

Have been using the default music player extension for over a year now, this app is definitely a step up in terms of layout and usability.

Fantastic media control app, with excellent presentation on the SmartWatch 2. Much better than the official Sony effort. However I kindly request to add support for the "Seagate Media" and "Stereodose" apps. Thank you very much in advance! Keep up the awesome work :-)
