About Score Counter

Have you ever played a game where you needed to write down points for each player and perhaps count them up right away? And had trouble finding pen and paper at the same time?

Score Counter can replace paper, pen and even a calculator if you are rusty in Math. The only thing you need to do is creating a new game, adding players with one tap, optionaly set some game parameters and type in points during the game. That’s it, the app handles the rest for you.

Notice: I looked on reviews and you want to edit scores. Yes you can! Just click and hold on score you want to edit.

Features:
Adding/editing players
History of all games played with search and game status filter (still playing/ finished)
Ending the game automatically with preset parameters
Current game leaderboard
Continue a previously started game with one tap
Intuitive UI
XLS and CSV export
No more looking for paper and pen!
Round number’s (optional)
Completely free without any ads

If you stumble upon a bug, please send me an email with the bug description. I’ll try to fix it as soon as possible. One-star reviews with “Doesn’t work” comments won’t help me pinpoint the bug.

Thank you

Interface too slow (long-press required to edit cells). Too much padding space between columns, which forces games with about 6 players to occupy two screens in pétait mode (and moving from one to the other is difficult and slow). It would be nice to have buttons to increase and decrease values. Once rows are numerous enough to fill screen, players names disappear (should be freezable like in Excel).

I've used other score keeping apps and this one is organized really well. It's easy to setup a new game and score/compare rounds. I wish it was easier to go back to previous scores. Right now you have to long press

This is best app to keep score on several different games. You can have more than one going at a time. I use it for Uno, Phase 10 and Skip-bo. It keeps a record of how many games I have won. The only downside is the inability to edit scores once entered.

My phone is always on me. It's nice to always have a way to easily keep score wherever I am. You never know when a game is going to break out.

Very nice interface and has all the tools I need. The only thing missing for me is a Backup & Restore option!

T70%

Would be nice to be able to edit scores, create common games that you play often, and be able to do negative point games like uno, so that the first person to a set score loses instead of wins. Otherwise a good app.

T70%
by T####:

Great app, I just wish I could select whose score I wanted to enter instead of the set order, and saving game types with score limits

A70%
by A####:

Can't undo or edit a score. How stupid is that?? Should be able to simply touch a score to edit it. What a PIA.

I rate any app that forces a review with one star. This app has a popup that asks for a rating, two options are available: rate now / remind me later. Without the "no thanks" option you are forced to leave a rating or see the popup every time you open the app.

It's a very easy to use score keeping app. I use it for my bowling meetup group. We play 3 games each and the app automatically keeps track of the totals of the games played for every individual. At the end of the bowling match the app generates a list of names with the totals in order of best score.

Great little app. Only problem is the fact that you can't edit if you mess up. You'll have to start over, but regardless, it's great.

Excellent app.The one I was looking for,a simple and powerful app.It would be great if the + sign appearing alongside each entry could be removed eg.5 instead of +5,this would help in the case of games where there are no negative scores(can actually give the option to hide the '+').Also not sure what happens if at the end of the last round, the scores are tied between the two players,it should ask for one more round as a tie-breaker,right now it shows the player who got the points in the last round as winner instead of inserting one more round(I am talking about games where there are restrictions on no. of rounds and total no. of points)

We use it to keep score for a card game. I really wish there was a way to 'back up', if you enter a score on a player and hit enter too quickly to the next, instead of having to "math it out" to enter the right score.

Typos can be remedied now. Great simple app. No ads.

T70%

Really enjoying the app. Would be nice to have option so you could enter all scores for one player, and then all scores for next player (i.e. entering scores down the column) Instead of entering scores across the rows (across the players).

Like others have said, the ability to edit scores is a little limited. The order that you put the player names has to be the same order that you input the scores. Overall this app is awesome though.

Perfect for my needs. I needed a score card for Rummy, Tri-ominos, and other games that let me have lots of "rounds" and enter scores manually.

P70%

Easy to use interface. Beats pen and paper. It would be nice to be able to edit the title of a completed game to distinguish sessions. Even better if the date was added automatically.

O70%
by O####:

Great. No need to scrounge for paper and pen when a great card game kicks off. Easy and handy.

Reverse score counter does not work.

B70%

It helps with any game that is played in rounds. My only wish is that I could add people AFTER the game has begun.

X70%
by X####:

But once u put in a score it can't be changed and afew times it would hide some of my players names

T70%

Super easy to use scoring app. Great for keeping cumulative scores without having to do mental maths each round

No edit button. Bullshit

V70%

Especially at the first run....

A70%

Excellent app and I love the color scheme. Would be nice if we could edit scores. If you incorrectly enter a score you have to do another round and enter a value that adds up to the score you meant to enter. Also, I'm not sure why it's necessary to enter a name for the game. I usually just enter a single character so I can continue. Still, this app works well and looks really nice.

My wife and I use this app to keep track of our nightly game of gin rummy... Works perfectly.
