About KCSF 18
The purpose of the Conference of Czech and Slovak Physicists is to bring together people working in various fields of physics to share and exchange experience, to inform the physics community about the latest developments through invited lectures and to provide young physicists with the opportunity to present their work at an international conference. Contributions (oral presentations, posters) from a broad range of topics are welcome, e.g.:
nuclear and particle physics, nanophysics, cosmic physics and astrophysics, plasma physics, quantum electronics and optics, physics of materials (metals, semiconductors, dielectrics), magnetism, low temperature physics and superconductivity, mathematical and computational physics, statistical physics, chaos, geophysics, biophysics, acoustics, physics education, etc.
The conference is traditionally organised by the Czech Physical Society and Slovak Physical Society (see the pages of the previous 17th Conference of Czech and Slovak Physicists in Žilina, Slovakia, 2011). The conference is proud to host the representatives of the European Physical Society, Roland Eötvös Physical Society and the Polish Physical Society.
