FlowerChecker+, plant identify

I acquired 3 plants from a neighbor but no answers as to what they were. I received answers well under an hour. I saw multiple negative reviews about having to pay beyond 3 requests and a vague description of the app but if you actually take the time to read it, it is not even remotely vague. As far as having to pay for requests, Im sure that the huge gap in ratings between this app and all the others has to do with botanists processing requests instead of computers. People generally like to be paid.

Best App i have ever found on the Store for usefulness! I would like it if the Botanist could elaborate on the ID including if possible the subspecie or variety. I asked what a plant was with pic, i knew it was a Croton, but didn't know the variety. But definitely love this App and recommend it to all gardeners and plant aficionados !

One of the questions I got from the 'expert' was "Do you know what kind of plant the seed came from?" Seems to be a silly question if I am asking for help identifying a plant!

I like that they give a percentage of how sure they are. And I also like that they answer my follow up questions. So far they haven't steered me wrong and I use it quite a bit. Great for someone who may have bought a home with unfamiliar landscaping and gardening.

Speedy reply and I think correct, I was trying to identify a rapidly spreading plant in ground beside my garden. Although the photos I sent were of it in winter so not so easy to identify, the botanist managed. Many thanks

Amazing app. Totally worth the cost (3 identifications from initial purchase, $1 each thereafter). Quick, accurate responses. Now I can figure out the appropriate way to prune and care for all these previously unknown plants in my garden.

It is a paid service but that's fair enough they have real people doing the searching and they have a good go of it.,and if they don't know it, they don't charge. It's free to send a request u have to use a credit to get the answer. Good little app for anyone interested in plants of all kinds

I purchased this app with prepaid credits and I am very pleased with the response to the identification questions. The response time was very fast ranging from a few minutes to just over an hour ( They aim to respond within 24 hours ). The information given is detailed. I like the feature where your response has been graded with a percentage value to the certainty regarding the accuracy of the answer , before you accept it and spend your credit. The message feature is also great.

Sent a picture of a simple plant. Took them 24 hours to tell me that it was unrecognizable.

I got a plant for Valentine's day and didn't know what it was, I got an answer in under an hour. Amazing!

It's nice to get an educated opinion on plants and trees that grow within my yard.

I'm starting to work with floral design and this app is excellent. If there's a plant that I'm not sure of and it's something that I'd like to work with again, I take a picture and have it identified in this app and that way I can remember later what it is so I can use it again. Thank you!

Had to get an older apk from February this year from the internet for the free version. The current one reports a crash upon each attempt to select a picture.

They are very accurate, and find out what plant you submit very quickly. I just wish it did not cost money per request, since the app also cost money to download.

This app is fantastic! I'm so excited, I finally was able to identify an ivy plant I spotted on a wall in my neighborhood. It is a mystery no longer. Woohoo!

I don't get why you pay for the app and then keep paying for the botanists to research the plants for you. Why bother charging to get the app?

I'm definitely going to be paying the fees when my last coin is used.

I got an answer in 1-2 hours even though they say it can take up too 24 hours.
