Save Editor for Baldur's Gate

You must ensure that the save file that you are editing is currently in a paused state when saved. If you edit like that then your character's strength will not be dropped to 0 prior to inputting a new value and subsequently dying. This is better than nothing. I wish EEKeeper was useable for Android.

Attempted to change stats in BG2, instead of changing the stats it changed the "listing" of the chr's level. It must be noted it did not actually change the playing level, just the listing in the profile.

Great app. Works as intended as long as ypu dont try editing Neera or Dorn. It will randonly give them a bunch of worse stats and change their level to 11 without any level up benefits. Will rate higher once this is fixed , has BG2 compatibility and adds an option to increase gold or exp

IF used correctly, it WILL let you modify a character's stats. Unfortunately, that is the absolute limit of its current functionality. I must echo the comments of nearly everyone else here, and say that this app desperately NEEDS to be expanded on. Preferably to the point where it's functionally parallels that of Gatekeeper/Shadowkeeper for the PC. Until then I cannot rate this any higher than 2 stars.

The app says I changed the character, but when I reopen the game the stats stay the same. Help please? On bg2 btw

It WORKS, however, you can only change the stats if your safe is in a sanctuary (in game temple) if done outside, char dies. I did it in neshkel, temple of hemna, something like that.

Single player games only though, unfortunately. But easy enough. Import character into a new single player game, edit stats, the import back to your mp save.

Works, but very confusing directions. Note: you first must input old stats to replace with new stats. Kinda weird. But worked once I figured it out.

it says the apps support BG2..when i edit the char stats it changes only char level not the character stats..please help?

I would never download this for Baldurs Gate and Baldurs Gate 2 for an easy playthrough...

Only in single player, only does stats. Please make more like Keeper :)

Does not work on Galaxy S6, Note 4, or Tab S. Just stuck at the screen showing Baulder's Gate or Icewind Dale and nothing will interact at all. If there are special instructions to make it identify games or whatever there should be some sort of readme or help links. Just tried again on aparent newer version on LG V20. Still just blank white screen and only able to see the "about" tab.

Will give better rating if the app creator can show me how to make it work

When changing stats and tap find it says it can't find a character. Wtf

It won't change the stats in Baldur's Gate II.

OK, so, when I first tried using this app I loaded my game in Baldur's gate and then opened the app and entered the character stats on the left and the desired stats on the right. Said "GOT IT". This didn't work .BUT I then opened an auto save in this app (ONE that wasn't loaded on the game) then entered the info. It said "got it" then loaded the auto save and it worked. So I gathered that it wont work if your currently playing the saved file your editing. If you edit another save file, which you are not playing, this will work.

Only allows you to change your characters base stats. Have to put in original stats first or it won't work. Overall not very useful. ShadowKeeper still works, just have to move save files to a PC to edit them.

Sometimes it all changes correctly after it 'got it', other times it got a like 4 or 5 of the 6 leaving them unchanged in BG. In IWD i could only get one person to change a couple of them.... wishit had a level editer & a switch for the cheat code activation to the saved game file. Using a blue tooth keyboard it could work.

You have to read the description here to know how to use it. It works and is the only cheat app i saw, but disappointed it has no item cheats and the like

Works as advertised. For a free app, it is amazing. You need to pay attention to the details, when using it. But awesome for those of us who don't want to crack our phones. Thank you!

Select your save game file and remember the ability stat numbers, just like the notes tell you to. The other thing you have to do is backspace through the " - " so that your original number is now positive, then you can enter your altered number in the provided space. Do this for all stats before hitting the little "search and save" selector in the upper right of screen. Works on my nexus7 2013.

Saves you the trouble of finding all those tomes over and over again or finding those Lum the Mad recepies.I've finished the franchise genuinely on more occasions than I can count since I first played Baldur's Gate in y2k.So it's not about being lazy,it's about saving time.So to all you veteran players : use it!You've earned it!

I click on the save file, add the stats I want, and then click search and save, then I get a message saying "Can't find the character:(" How do I fix this?

When I set all stats to 18 on my thief, the hp bonus is stuck at +2 instead of +4. I tried assigning 18 to the stat before modding and before I modify the save file, it gives +4. After I modify the rest of the stats and leave my CON at 18, the bonus drops from +4 to +2. Soooo close. I want my hp:(

What does it do, maybe I am doing something wrong or it doesn't work? ! Crapola!

The only problem is one of my characters is 18/93 strength and the editor doesnt have "/".
