Bell Tower - Know the Time

Great app. In my work as an electrician my phone is in my tool box whilst I'm in an attic, up a ladder, under the floor, or in a kitchen cabinet this app gives me a reminder of the time. The only thing I would like to change is the flexibility to have different settings on the weekends or the ability to have two or three or four different programs that you could select different days for. I.e. Mon-thur chimes every 30mins and hour from 8am-8pm. Fri-Sat every hour 10am-9pm, sun every hour 12pm-4pm etc etc.

This developer doesn't know how to tell time. This is supposed to bell on the hour not 2, 3 og 4 minutes after.

My only problem is it rings the 15 minutes on the hour as well as the hour. Other-wise yes, it is what I was looking for.

Settings are confusing. The application works intermittently. Number of bells sounded won't agree with physical time.

After a couple of days the app stopped working. Also, after I shut down the phone and start it back up the app did not start up nor worked.

Doesn't start on boot, that's fixable, there's an app for that, but gets killed way too easy just by multitasking, others might have better luck

It is helpful in so much as it keeps me roughly aware of the time but like others have said the varying delay is annoying. Also, as still others have said there really should be a way of turning off the 4 15 minute chimes at the top of the hour. A different sound at the top of the hour is enough, with the option of sounding the number of hours.

Uninstalling

It used to be very good, but now, for no reason, it's gone bezirk, rings 2 mn ahead of time, then repeats 3 mn past time. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't solve the problem, I give up! From 5 stars went down to two stars, proof, just like that. What a pitty, I miss it, really!

Loved it at first. Worked every hour and sounded nice. Then it just stops working. I unstalled it & reinstalled it but it still doesnt work any more. What a shame!

Great idea but it only rings occasionally.

Poxy thing stopped working after the last update and still doesn't work. It was great when it worked, why mess about with it?

Why the bell to the quarter ring 4 times on the full hour? This is not correct.

Its OK but the i was looking for more of a grandfather clock sound.

Worked one time then unresponsive. Tried again nothing.

Hourly chime does not work unless you enable quarterly chime

You will need to reset as often as you can cause it stops working by itself.

Good app

Some glitches. Will go off at odd times, along with quarter hour, and number of bells doesn't coincide with actual time. At 9 a.m. there were 13, at 1 p.m. there were 2. :(

Can set it to silent overnight. Sometimes a little bit glitchy but working perfectly now. Use system sound if you want a larger range of noises! I have it ringing every quarter of an hour (you don't have to) - once at quarter past, twice at half past etc! Then a different bong on the hour just in case I didn't count the four! The high cuckoo is fun! And you can have it chiming the same number of times as the o'clock hour, if you want. Worth trying if you want to keep track of time.

First the plus points. Extremely flexible, equally easy to use and free. Possibly the best available. But the working is unreliable. Chimes work ok or just stop working at random. Sometimes stops chiming midway. This is really a put off for an otherwise excellent product. Developer, are you listening?

Doesn't work set it and it's not working it has not gone off yet what gives ? I'm I doing something wrong !? Read reviews and was looking at ratings looked good well guess I was wrong ! I'll give it another 1/2 hour if it doesn't work I'm deleting it off my phone !

Briliant brother. Applications that only you can ring the number of votes by the hour, so do not need to see the clock when the phone in the bag. Disadvantages only one that can not change Tones that are stored dihandphone. I beg you please update ... I believe you are the best clock app
