About ownCloud Bookmarks
INFO: Does not work with new ownCloud/nextCloud version. I have no strength to adapt to changes coming with every new version. There is a serious need of some API to access bookmarks, otherwise it is very hard to maintain the app. I have opened the code in github https://github.com/Nethar/owncloud-bookmarks and some people are working on it, or better say waiting for API to be introduced.
Provides convenient access to ownCloud Bookmarks.
To use this application you need to have access to ownCloud installation with Bookmarks extension enabled. At least version 5.0 of ownCloud is required.
Features:
- displays list of your bookmarks structured by tags
- short click to open bookmark/category
- long click to delete bookmark
- share functionality available: share any link/text in Android to ownCloud Bookmarks app to save the bookmark
- background refreshing and results caching for fast access
- favicons displayed where available
- sorting options

A simple app, but performs its function quite well. [EDIT] Does not seem to work with OC 8.2/Bookmarks 0.7. Emailed dev but no response. 1-star until updated.

Doesn't work with OC 8.x This app hasn't been updated since Nov 2014 and hasn't worked since OC version 8 (8.1 I think). The author's website exists, but has no content, just a message saying "Android apps to be presented here soon.". I have also read another review that said the author isn't responding to emails. For all intents and purposes it looks like this app has been abandoned. :-(

Works quite well on the OnePlus One. But I would like to be able to edit bookmarks as well.

still broke on the newer version. how do i file a bug on this app? i'm using owncloud 7 and the bookmark app won't accept specifying a port number, it removes it from the server url. https:// server:7770 doesnt work

Good app. Makes it easy to add bookmarks to owncloud. Would be great if it had a select menu for tags, and could automatically add the title of web pages.

Unfortunately it doesn't support SNI for multiple HTTPS hosts on one IP, so I can't sync to my server at the moment. Hopefully a new, better library can be swapped in to fix it.

When sharing from a program, it needs to search for the http string since not all programs provide the URL first (such as Google Currents). Usually have to go back thru the website and edit any URLs I've saved.
