It lacks customisation for date (it could use a formatting string), but even so, the time and date fits inside a 2x1 widget. Unfortunately, like most clock widgets, it failed the test of time: after some usage, it started hanging, and unlike others that randomly resumed, this didn't, the only way to fix it was killing the process, removing the widget and then putting it back.
