Simple Volume (donate)

Recently I got a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge after an HTC One A9, and the only thing I hate about the my new phone is that the ringtone, notifications, and system volumes aren't linked. This app fixes that and is not invasive. Sometimes the little volume box doesn't reflect the actual volume, but if it's stuck and you change the volume, you can see the volume change on the system pop-up. Totally worth the 99 cents.

Just what it says it will do. Works on s7 mm. Hmm.. sometimes my media volume is at full even though it comes up as on mute. I have to turn up and then down the volume again for it to mute again.

Not being able to have my main volume and notification volume linked drove me crazy! This app fixes that and it's super easy to use! Worth $0.99 (they even got a free version).

Simple. Best. Does what it says. Keep it up OP. I purchased because I wanted to donate. Free version does not bother you either. Real heroes doesn't wear capes.

On newer Samsung phones that have the app power saving, you have to turn that OFF for Simple Volume or Simple Volume will not work.

Latest Android update broke this App. Please update, it was so good!

The only thing that would make it 5 stars is if it controlled the media volume as well.

What I needed. I realize this is an old app but it does exactly what I need.

Coming from an iPhone I wanted my ring tone and notification volume to work together. Liked it so much I bought the pay version but it still had the pop-up. Tried unistalling the free version and the pay version doesn't work by itself. No biggie. Still works good even though I paid and still have the pop-up

The app works flawlessly at first, but then seems to arbitrarily change the volume without user input. Restarting the phone seems to help for a while, but the issue recurs. Additionally, since installing the app, the volume and call answer controls on my headset no longer work.

I would have given it 5 stars previously as it used to work flawless. But ever since I've updated to 5.1.1 (Samsung Galaxy S6 edge) it works once and then stops functioning as it should. Eg halfway into my day I'll notice the volumes aren't synced anymore. Only starts working again once I force close the app and restart it. Because the issue still pertains when I do a standard reboot of my phone. Have installed/reinstalled the app but problem is still there. Fix this and it'll be 5 stars from me again

With the donate version and free version I've found that this only works for a period of time, then stops linking the volumes. When/if you notice the problem, you need to stop and restart the service manually so it works again. It's a shame as Samsung kept the volumes separate and didn't include an option to link them, this app is very handy given Samsung's stupidity.

Worked flawlessly until recent up. Now my volumes are not in sync. Will only work for a short period of time after going in to the app (doing nothing different once in) but will not work shortly afterwards and then would would again once i go back in the app. PLZ FIX!!!!!!!

Simple, as the name says, and still works beautifully even on my Note 7. Don't let this die.

Free version works, but this deserves the purchase.

I love this little app. I'm surprised it hasn't been downloaded more. It's so helpful keeping my phone sounds under control at work without having to set it on vibrate.

Does exactly what I want

Any chance of an update for the S5? It works, but the volume increment steps are off. There are more increments on the S5 than previous devices.

Will update to 5 stars if display level for notification and system volumes are adjusted simultaneously with ringtone volume and doesn't require exiting volume and reopening to see adjustment.

There isn't an option or check box in stock touchwiz to enable volume linking. Thanks for creating a solution to Samsung's poor design decisions!

I have the Samsung Galaxy S5 and this app works pretty well. At first I thought it didn't work, because the notification volume didn't seem to be adjusting with the ringer. However, after I read more reviews I found out that you have to wait a little while (similar to the time of the pop-up on the free app) for it to sync. SUGGESTION: Maybe this info can be included in the app description?

No excessive permissions. The free version doesn't even have annoyances trying to get you to purchase. I purchased because this app is well made, and it does exactly what I want when nothing else will. This is a must have some Google made an ANNOYING change to Jellybean where they wouldn't even add in a little checkbox to link notification and ringer volume. This is the first app I've felt compelled to purchase since smart phones have been around. I don't purchase apps, bit this is the exception!

Good thing there's an app for that. Because the manufacturer didn't include that option. For me, I don't know why you wouldn't want them linked. Must have app. Get the paid version to support developer, this one's worth it.

Finally my notification volume changes with my ringer volume. How stupid that the S4 can't do that without an app.

I still get the popup to donate on volume change, and I have purchased the donation app. Update: Thanks! that fixed the issue.
