Město Tábor – kultura 2017

Město Tábor je dnes druhým největším jihočeským městem a stalo se významným dopravním, hospodářským a kulturním centrem regionu. Romantická táborská krajina rozprostírající se v povodí řeky Lužnice patří díky velkému množství historických památek a svým přírodním krásám k nejnavštěvovanějším místům v České republice.

Táborsko je kraj úzce spjatý s dějinami českého národa, od nepaměti místem bohatých kulturních tradic. Pulzující srdce regionu je Tábor, který kromě řady kulturních programů vycházejících z historických tradic a přibližující středověk nabízí i mnoho kulturních zařízení, expozic a výstav, alternativní kulturu, netradiční přehlídky a širokou paletu interdisciplinární festivalů – kulturních zážitků pro všechny generace.
V Táboře se koná ročně na 20 festivalů, několik již z mnohaletou tradicí, některé nově: Festival čokolády, Hračkárna, Naše chutě,... A tak i zde dnešní návštěvník najde pestrou kulturní nabídku.
