I had an app that totally screwed up my phone's brightness level. Even though my phone's brightness level was at 100%, the app caused the brightness to remain at 50%. Thanks to this app, my phone's brightness level is back to normal. Thanks again.

And that's still if it weren't free. I'd gladly pay 4 or 5 dollars for this :)

Doesn't learn from. User input

Does not have the versatility I need. I can't get to it from the lock screen. No good if you forget to set auto brightness and then walk out in the bright sunlight only to find you can't even see the screen to unlock your phone.

Just another great app that makes the horrible new android releases at least somewhat tolerable. Thank you developer, love it! Fantastic.

nexus 7 lacks the search button and so it's not possible to latch this app while using other app but I was using cyanogenmod so in settings- navigation bar - I added the search button and now it functions well. the ui and preset profiles works well and add to the ease of its operation. waiting for other ways to call the app.

Auto does not work properly. Lux is better than this.

My device doesn't have a search button and there's no option to replace it.

Fails to control brightness on 4.0.4 ics. Using t989 gs2

I love simple yet effective apps that do exactly what they're supposed to. This app fixed the buggy stock brightness control on my phone as well.

This app does what it says with no problems. Small simple easy to use. It saves battery.

This is a great brightness app. Readily available through a long press on the search button. Customizable buttons you can also turn off. Just wish the interface was fine tuned. The top has the look of a shadowed frame but the bottom corners /edges seem odd. Great app, nonetheless.

Very convenient for someone like me who likes to alternate alot between auto and full brightness, don't have 2 go thru all the menus, new widget too.

Using the menu key u can set it up exactly as u want it. Supports automatic brightness. Works really well. Can be used as dock shortcut without widget

Best of it's kind. Simple, and very nicely done.

HTC's own widget seems to only set the brightness at either 30%, 60% or 100%. This has defaults at 0% and 10% as well as quick access to the slide bar for more accuracy. Great little app!

Please add more themes and auto profile change based on schedule or time. Thanks.

easily viewable in sunlight. Easy set-up. Fast. I use 3 presets and that's plenty.

Love the long press search button for quick brightness adjust. I don't have to exit any programs to do this.

This was exactly what I was searching for. It can control the brightness with one touch. Extremely Useful. No need to go to settings page.

Simple, yet powerfull & effective. Using the search key saves valuable screen space. The best solution to bypass the auto-brightness I have found.

Love the custom level buttons. Those alone caused me to change brightness apps. Only thing I can think of to make it any better would be add more custom buttons, maybe cut then all in half and have 8. More options is always better than less. Also maybe make a widget like Brightness Level that tells you what % it is currently set on. Thanks!

I've downloaded many brightness apps, and by far this is the best one. Would like to see a better ICS close option, like tapping on an unused part of the screen instead of having to hit the x button. Auto close option is great with using the slider, but not when toggling presets. All in all, great app.

This is the only brightness app that can be linked to the 'hold search' shortcut. Easy to use even when screen is overpowered by sunlight

Fantastic app, use it constantly. Who wants 2 go back 2 home screen 2 use widget? Apps like this, that do things & go places frm other apps, r the way 2 go. Saves keystrokes, saves time, so easy. Can't believe there r zillion widgets, but only couple like this. Tried them, this is best. Smooth move putting control in rarely used button. I never use search button, but it's still available with short press, as this app uses long press. Could do w more color options, gimme red or black, not yellow or green.
