Percipio Beta

Percipio is an Augmented Reality (AR) application running on mobile devices (e.g. smartphones) serves as a guide for unknown or frequently changing environments. The application empowers users with the ability to sense and discover places of interest in their vicinity. Camera feed and visual representation of discovered places are fused together to enrich users' vision by related information for all visible places.

In order to deliver high quality of user experience, Percipio exploits advanced computational model for discovery of places with high precision relying on sensor data and unique model of places. These features provide Percipio an upper hand when discovering outdoor places only partially visible, concealed or when users suffer from bad visibility conditions (fog or rain).

Percipio is still in development, bugs and awkward behavior may occur. All kinds of feedback are sincerely welcome. The installation file currently contains database for Prague, Czech Republic only. Actually, more cities worldwide are going to be added later. No Internet connection is required, nevertheless, it is recommended due to Percipio's optional integration with Google Maps.
