This app is trash could not find even one of my six lights that are on the network just stopped working would not even give you a chance to change settings to find out what was going on so don't bother with this app it does not work and is not worth what I paid for it nothing I'm uninstalling it immediately

Absolute trash. Randomly cycles through colours. They match the colours on your TV screen but only when the app itself in on screen cycling through the same colours. Switch to watching a TV show or movie, and your lamp reverts to white with no change in colour at all. Useless.

Randomly changes colours even when image is static. Fouls the lifx widget

Any chance of updating this, it seems to have stopped working?

Definitely more stable now however connection drops after a few minutes.

Picks different colors every second even though the image displayed is static. Colors often don't match the screen at all. Disconnects sometimes. Tested on Nvidia Shield TV.

Great concept, but doesn't work very well with my 2015 Sony AndroidTV (65X810C). Video in all apps that I tested stutter badly while MoodSync is active. I was also disappointed to find that MoodSync does not work with video from input sources, only Android apps. I'm not sure if that's even possible, but I would gladly pay for an app that fixes these issues.

Really love the concept... But it needs keep up with the colors instantly (with no delay). Anything less than that can be quite irritating... Hopefully the response time will be closer to the official LIFX app - some update soon!?!?

by C####:

Wonderful concept and acceptable performance. There should be an integrated option for brightness control. When controlling the lights the app tends to default to 50% color brightness. Honestly I feel like brightness control is a must have feature and needs to be added. The color detection is good enough despite the delay. Works great to add some ambient lighting to accent the backdrop on Android TV.

Shame it always disconnects after 15min using kodi on android tv (nexus player)

Sounds promising ! Would love the same for Hue bulbs ;-)

Would be a great app....but I can't access it. Force closes after I activate it....

It crashes when you try to connect

E70%
by E####:

Love the feature of this app but there should be an option to sync specifically to a particular app and not the screen and also what is playing on tv using chrome cast. What plays on tv using chrome cast isn't shown on the phone/tablet and the tv isn't Android tv, so the colour changes aren't captured.

Hi Dave, now it is causing the system UI to crash.
