xStitching is a new modern app that allows to easily create cross stitch patterns from images and then interactive embroider.
With this app you can forget about paper patterns for cross stitching, that always are teared up or get lost. You can easily choose image you like and convert it to the desired pattern. This app allows you to edit design according to your taste: edit color palette, change color of one or more stitches. When your design will be perfect, you can immediately embroider it from your phone with marking already embroidered stitches.

Love the app overall. Easy to use and like having a digital copy. However, I wish there was an easy way to transfer a pattern from one device to another. I would also like to be able to delete a pattern.

I am in the middle of my first (test) project, using this app, and I am very happy with the app. I began stitching, using the pdf printout and after a while I decided to try stitching from the pattern on my phone. Using the on-phone pattern is far easier that trying to follow a printed pattern and much faster. I will use my tablet on my next project so I will have a larger screen to work from.

Really was hoping this would work, it completely rearranged the pattern I made and uploaded into it. It doubled certain letters in width for some reason which also messed up the spaces between my lettering. Not sure how to resolve this.

Thinking of going back to cross stitch but with my own patterns. Downloaded app after trying one or two others. This was so simple. Not sure whether will be able to convert to print off pattern but we shall see. VG app so far.

I hoped I would be able to actually draw my own patterns, limited only by my imagination...no photos necessary. I am not seeing that that is even possible. Am I missing something?

O.k, i love that i can make my own pic into cross stitch and download it for myself, BUT , as a newbee how am i to know which color is what block as i have a black and white and there are no way to tell what colores go to which square if you would do an a,b,c grid out on eack block to eack coresponding color that would be 5 stars for me. Please make this an option for us nonexperts.
