a:Drake for Android
I'd rather use c:geo
Crashed as soon as I opened it.
Is this app still being maintained? I really want to use it but I'm getting a black bar across the bottom toolbar/icons. Can anyone address this for me please?
Are cut in half. Can't read the text below to see what each one does. Had to delete... Was looking promising though. :(
Just Amazing.
Good application, but worse UX - you need more time to find all the features. I miss more detailed zoom in map (C:Geo is better in this). And there are problems scrolling in cache listing with pictures (Galaxy SIII) - very annoying
Limited... Buy pro version...
Just what's needed to grab some puzzle FTFs the other day. Easy to add and mark wants on the fly.
Nejlepsi program, ktery spolupracuje s Geogetem. Nyni s podporou vektorovych map uz nechybi asi nic. Diky
There is no way to search the loaded data base by GC code number, no good for me
I like the offline approach. I just miss a bulk map downloader or suport for the same ofline map format as c:geo uses. There is a way to search by geocode: Filter
Když jsem si kupoval mobil s Androidem, litoval jsem poue toho, že musím opustit PocketDrake. Jakou radost mám, že vnikla i verze pro Android! Děkuji autorovi.
The map interface is a little messy and slow, but apart from that it is pretty darn good. Works well with non-Groundspeak caches too!
Theres better.
... and it's not even finished yet. Best in cooperation with Geoget, at least that's how I use it.
I have done a good test with this app and its not as good as c:geo as there doesn't seem to be a way of storing caches or searching caches from your current location.
A little confusing to start with, but I have been using other apps that work differently. Once found the "use offline database" setting it was no longer downloading live data in the field but from a GPX file. Proximity alarm when approaching GZ is the best, no more walking past when busy chatting. One big feature missing from this app is the ability to have turn by turn directions when driving to a cache. Also only imports from pre downloaded unzipped GPX, no link from emails to import like c;geo. Would also be good if there was map tile caching for offline maps like neongeo. But I like this app, ad hoc waypoint input great for those final bonus caches, nice collection of features including code ciphers. This app will be staying installed in my cache apps collection
At last a geo cache app that does it all, and works well after a little time setting it up. Import gpx file did not work and showed nothing on map but live data covered this little error. Thanks have deleted cgeo now.
