Ventusky: Weather Maps

Great weather overview app. Will only recommend to have more setup option, like optional video camera's block and custom sorting of map modes.

Finally available as an app and I love it more than the web version. Reacts quickly and the wind animations are awesome.

I will not pay premium when I can see everything with the online site.

Any plans to include sea depth level? 5 Stars plus if you do it!

It's a good app but why pay for premium features when you can use the website for free?

Glad my fav weather app is now on my mobile also! I mostly use "Rain/1hr interval", could you make the app remember the last view please, so I don't have to change two settings every time I launch it. I am also willing to pay for 'premium' (even though the website is free) but certainly NOT as a yearly/subscription (!). Make it a one off purchase and I will buy it. Latest update now remembers the last view thanks A++++

Superb weather website brought to android,only fault is the lack of a full screen option after selecting date and time. Please give us this option Ventusky so we can enjoy your brilliant animations to the max.

I think you should make certain options free because just Rainfall and Precipitation is insufficient please make wind speeds and clouds also available for free commercial use.

I do like these maps they show what you need but due to every thing but rain being behind a yearly subscription I have to mark this down as the website shows same information and is completely free ????

Uninstalled right away, can't show anything other than temperature. Everything else is a "premium layer". Might as well use the mobile site. They could have placed ads, offered premium to remove them and it would have still been a more functional app.

Only precipitation and temperature is free, but you need to pay for everything else. May as well just use the website and get use everything for free. Disappointing.

I think it would be worth $20 if it can include reasonably real-time accurate aerial aerosol patterns.

Tisk tisk tisk Ventusky. I love your website on my desktop and laptop, its awesome and I will continue to use it..but you shamed yourself on a mobile app. No snow coverage (amongst other common popular choices of weather coverage) unless I pay to upgrade? No thank you. NOAA WEATHER is free and navigates similar to your Ventusky website. So figure out another way to make a buck that isnt so petty. Maybe take some pointers from NOAA...?? Idk but I love your website tho.

The update seems to work well, it is not stopping since the last hour! Thank you very much for the improved app and quick turnaround. A trial period before purchasing the premium would be great as well, that would make clear what the benefits are between the two versions.

Since the bug fixes the app runs much better and has not crashed in the last few days. I will see how accurate it is and how much I use it before going premium. Pixel XL

New edit: It works so much better now! Fast fixes, and it's my favorite way to predict possible weather.

Great app, but I cannot see the reason for payed content. I can see the same data on the web page, right? So what is the added value? One star down for this, otherwise I'd give 5. And very strange thing happenned when I installed it on my legacy OPO 1 - it rendered my phone almost unusable, because it forced my launcher to restart every three seconds. When I uninstalled the app, everything returned to normal. Strange.

The inability of the devs to release a working app made me start using the competition (Windy) on the desktop as well, before I preferred Ventusky: I tried the app as son as it got released, it made the launcher restart continuously and made the phone restart upon opening the app. Tried every new version since then, the same bahavior. Informed the developer via email about the specs of my phone. Version 1.0.6 keeps crashing.

Have been a fan of Ventusky desktop version for ages. Now this being a paid service on mobile, I dislike it right away. Try to find another business model to keep the thing going detailed and free for everyone.

Feature desolation. Much better alternatives are available (Windy) which show more data and do so for free.

Well, a bit of a set back. $2 and some change for a change in my account. Others are free. I remove and move on!

This app is essentially useless if you do not pay for "premium features" which are every feature except temperature and precipitation.

After install my mobile was restart alone, can not after open launcher so need to uninstall.
