Unofficial Uniwar Damage Calc for Android
Great app for UW-players today, because even with all the in-game damage previews this helps tremendously when deciding what units to spawn or with planning more than one turn ahead. I especially like the layout (looks pleasant, which I think is a factor for a game related damage-calculator - it should be and is fun, not only mathematics). The controls are good and easy to use - if you already have some basic understanding of UW (gang-up, terrain and knowing what damage to expect approximately so you can notice it if you forgot to reset bonus or veterancy). In case the devs are still reading reviews: Great work, really many many thanks for this. and of course two wishes: 1. Do you think there is still room enough for a "reset"-button that actively sets damage of both units to 10, veterancy and gangup to 0, and terrain to neutral/water? That would spare many users some time and help a little with the known bug as well :) 2. I know that it must be a lot of work but do you plan to add subs / submerged subs?
Not as nessessary as it used to be due to them broadcasting what the damage will be. But it is still a valuable tool to be used to determine what the possible attacks will be, since the order of attack matters
I like the app, but since switching to a OnePlus X, I don't have access to the gang up scheme. There is no menu button on the phone or the app.
Being a relativity new Uniwar user there were many elements of the damage calculated I had no idea how to work with. But after some time I finally figured it out. Now I do find myself referring back to it again and again. Useful. The main issue is the text being too small on the graph. Made it virtually impossible to figure as a new user.
I investigated and found that 1st unit was set at double-veteran, and that setting was saved between invocations and always gave me overly optimistic predictions. Maybe reset veteran status when program reopens...
Not as nessessary as it used to be, but still a valuable tool
The toolbar on the right doesn't completely fit on my Asus TF101 tablet. Aside from that annoyance, this is a great tool
Used to have to use an excel spreadsheet on my PC for this.
No lag and crash
