I had multiple medical imaging DICOM files without (correctly) a .dcm file extension. I was able to batch add the extension in order to view them on a Dicom viewer that would only accept .dcm files. Excellent

Imagine I wrote a User Requirements Spec for all the things I wanted in an app such as this, File Tools would be the end result: exactly what I need with many different ways of renaming whole folders of files. However...it needs to be updated to run on Android 7 instead of crashing, especially as I've just paid for the Pro/No-Ad version and there is no refund period !

For now until i use it for sometime

I would like to see Auto Delete so that the duplicates are AUTOMATICALY REMOVED as I have found I get bored after a while with amount of Duplicates it has found on my Tablet and Mobile Phone.

Crashes when large number of files selected for rename. Folder had 3000+ files in it.

please add below term in duplicate file finding feature if more than two (or user defined number of) words match in name of two files than it should be consider as duplicate

Nice update. Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't do ads. RESPONSE: Yes, I will go Pro! Sorry, but somehow I missed the Pro version when I looked for it. Still, I gave it a high rating. I don't mind supporting developers, I just didn't think I could get this one ad-free.

I use this regularly for bulk renaming files - to add text to the beginning (e.g. a library of car pictures simply numbered 1, 2, 3, etc), or to strip off repetitive labels (e.g. sitename.xyz). However, the interface suffers from mystery navigation - unlabelled icons. I managed to puzzle through it by randomly tapping on parts of the interface to see what happened. The first step is the worst - after selecting files, you have to tap ">" at the bottom - not clearly a button. It's still a great app.

Update: Batch rename killed to make us buy pro version... UI is still a disaster.

Duplicate finder, file rename, file splitter are hot options of this app comparing other explorers.. I expect more from CYB apps..!!

Good app for batch renaming

Used to be stable and intuitive now crashes all the time and UI is a disaster.

Would give it 5 stars but it frequently crashes when I try to rename files.

Buggy and keeps crashing out. When I rotate my phone any selections I had are lost too.

Now it crashes whenever I try to run the action. Gotta find another one.

I'm glad there wasn't a "select all/delete all button"!!! It was trying to delete a file named "Matt's Resume.pdf" because there was a duplicate file under the name "rate_card_lookup.xls"........ Obviously not the same two files!

It used to work briliantly but now there are a bunch of bugs and every minute an add pops up even though there are already adds on the bottom. Not even an option to pay to remove them.

Easy way to rename files downloaded by Chrome containing unsupported characters in the file name. Did have to repeat find/replace twice when first pass changed some but not all with matching find character. Will report later if reoccurs.

This is a very great idea and suitable in a lot of situations .for example I had more than 500 images removed but I managed to find some cache of them(app saves the same resolution but in .cache) I was able then to rename all the images to .PNG easy to use and very user friendly

But one problem it is not able to rename files in my memory card so i have to copy them first in Internal Storage in my Asus zenfone 4.

This app renamed 500 of my files in just a few seconds!

When External Storage is selected and USB is plugged then can see it only. If not then can see extSdCard. Pls fix. Note 3 jb

Not only is the interface more difficult to navigate now but selecting more than a few files causes the application to become unstable and crash. Was much better before the design change. Would love to see the app working again, it was a great tool.

It used to have an easy, intuitive interface, now its a mess and impossible to use. Change it back because now it sucks. Lame

Why mess with the awesome app you had in the previous versions. All i can say works with the new version is the constant crashing

This is a great tool for renaming files. Great options for changing the file extension or any part of the name. I wish it had different view modes for the file list, but it works ok as is. I also wish i could select files from multiple folders at once, I'm sure it will but I don't know how yet.

Selected folder added the find string and the replace string clicked preview all looked good clicked apply and nothing!

At last find a tool which makes easy to batch rename the file name or extension

Warning... Follow my installed from Playstore, your not needed notebook again....Small device become powerfull _ send email first to developer before pay.....( I'm first request payments system to developer )
