• O FLAG@ permite uma contribuição colaborativa do público através da marcação de ocorrências de temas georeferenciadas sobre mapas, num determinado instante.

• O FLAG@ tem dois tipos de usuários: o criador de temas e o marcador da ocorrência destes temas. O criador pode incentivar a marcação das ocorrências através da atribuição de bónus e prémios por cada marcação reforçada.
