Cryptonite for Android
Everything I try to create a column it just fails. Used to work for me a while back.
Because Google encryption based on dm-crypt is sucks (Google will give up you to any BB) use this with junction of binding directories (mount -o bind) and you will live a little bit longer. ;) And great respect to developer and EncFS
Works great on older android versions, expect nothing.
I've previously used EncFS4Win to access my encrypted Dropbox from two different PCs (mounting them as drives) - now I can occasionally push or pull the odd file I might need from my phone as well, thanks to Cryptonite. It might take a moment or two to get your bearings around the simple UI but it does work well oiled and without a hitch. Exactly what I needed for mobile access to my secure cloud storage.
Work great on Android versions lower than 6 with fuse. I used it on a Lenovo A7000 just for fun, and always happy to have a secure encryption method available that can be run alongside a two pane browser to manage files by simply copying pasting and moving things around. Encrypts/decrypts with the click of a button. Unfortunately after I upgraded to 6 I had to say goodbye to truecrypt on my phone. Still beats all the other encryption apps available. Try Encryption Manager & encourage the dev Please.
This app works well in Lollipop. But since I upgraded my phone to Marshmallow, mounting doesn't work anymore. I'm using ElementalX kernel which supports FUSE. Will Marshmallow fix come soon?
Now mounting an encFS folder can be accessed for normal write operation in Gionee M2 OS v4.22 Jelly Bean. However, in Ubislate Tab 7CZ OS v4.4.2 KitKat, write operations in mounted folder can be accessed only via root file browser (file renaming though, can be done using a normal file browser. How can we mount TrueCrypt container file?. 20151130: please add multiple folders mounting facility.
Don't lock on portrait mode please =
Where do I find the password?
No real support for good file management. No ability to upload multiple files at a time.
I just had a great user experience from this app, syncing my encfs volume from Dropbox. Much smoother than the" all-in-one" secure file sync service SpiderOak in fact.
fails to mount volume in 4.4
Couldn't get it to open a Truecrypt volume on KitKat, but setting up a native volume is a breeze so no complaints
On the fly mount option but one drawback only readonly mode. Hope author makes changes.

Actually this worked for me.. because i used boxcryptor classic which is indeed a good software with only one flaw that it CAN NOT batch-decrypt multiple files at one time when u need to do so therefore u h have to deceypt them one-by-one and that's a painful process...this app solved the problem for me besides it can encrypt files using encfs file system so i think i will stick to it.
I've been using this for a while on multiple devices. Being able to mount truecrypt containers on android is always nice.
Can not mount volume (again) on infinix zero 2 with android 5.1 mtk6573 64 bit EDITED can mount volume now after install busybox and symlink all.. tq.. seems the problem on my rom not your great apps..
Will be awsome!
The new version does not allow copying or moving files into a mounted volume. I cannot even create new files or folders on a mounted volume (Android 4.2.1 Jellybean)

Works really well with volumes. Hoping to find a way to decrypt my 3TB usb drive with a fully encrypted partition. Can this app do that, even manually through the trypcrypt command line?
all I wanted! :) Thanks.
Some manual setting had to be done.. but i will take it as extra security option.. mount volume worked as charm now.. tq very much
Bit of a learning curve, but great app. Nice linking with encrypted Dropbox folders.
Thanks for the great effort
Excellent app that allows me to have an encrypted folder within Dropbox to preserve my freedom from the Police State and Big Brother. Thank you.
Great work. Linking with Dropbox worked seamlessly at first go. Obviously it's not a design masterpiece, but still giving 5 stars just for the concept and functionality.

Works as expected for my devices (Galaxy Note and Nexus 7) running CM ROMs. Had a problem on the Nexus 7 which went away after updating to the latest CM Nightly build (so was most likely a CM problem). I recommend new users to read the cryptonite wiki and Issues page to familiarise themselves with using the app.
used to love it, but now it doesn't work on any of my devices.
I use this app all the time and it's never let me down. Most importantly, I've never had any data corruption even when I forget to dismount before reboot or when I've had the odd crash and unrequested reboot (not caused by this app btw) Hopefully in the future we'll see improvements such as dismounts after pre-set idle times and such. Get this, try it. You'll love it!
Nice work, I'm on 4.2 and can mount volumes.
Since March mounting issues in Android 4.2 and now 4.3. Used to be great with 4.1 (it actually still is but it's useless with these mounting issues when using 4.2 and 4.3)
Allows me to store files securely on Dropbox and my cellphone
Installed, tested. It works great.
love it. its exactly what iwas looking for. one question can you hide cryptonite so no one can see its even installed? that would make it the best app for android if that was an available feature
Great work I love this app!'

I tried creating a local volume. But that folder still exists and not encrypted!!! I can still visit it by the file explorer. I don't know what this app was designed for. It does nothing at all.
