Payed a good amount for this app and for the money payed, it's definitely not worth it. Needed it for translations and it's worse than nothing at times

On my Android tablet, it's been hard to figure out how this is supposed to work, and it doesn't work as well as I'd like. I have to press some of the buttons several times to activate them. I can select and download a page, but the confirmation button is hard to press. I can display Hebrew and either English or Rashi, but the English and Rashi appear in a narrow box and can't go the width of the screen; changing the page view is difficult. English footnotes don't all work: on Megillah 7a, footnotes 12, 13, etc. link to footnote 1. The iTalmud menu sits above the Android menu and is difficult to activate. Starting the audio commentary on a page is easy, though. iTalmud did not allow my tablet to go to sleep; this is a setting (hard to activate) so that your screen shows the page while you listen. So yes, I can walk around with any page of Gemarah in my pocket, but studying the page is easier with a book at present. This has come a long way and has a way to go, but it's on a good path.

I may have been the first to download and try the app. It works! I am not sure if all features are in yet. Wasnt able to click rashi and tosfos, was able to select eng heb and tzuras hadaf. Awesome and make this for more seforim or lets team up and u provide system I can help with getting some good material. Excellent and get this app!

I paid for it and downloaded it but u can't move it to SD card and it takes up like 40 mb on internal memory, way too much! So i had to delete it! Please update.so i can move it to SD card then i can redownload this amazing app. Thank you

I tried this but what I really need is a shas in PDF format that I can import into a PDF reader like Aikido. Don't always have internet connection

Great Daf Yomi fill-in

It's clunky, un-intuitive, buggy and just aggravating to use. Not all all adapted for Android users, so I'm constantly pressing the wrong buttons. Difficult to have Rashi and the gemara at the same time, and much worse if you want to check Tosafos or English. All this, not to mention the price.

Crashes 4/5 of the time

There were many issues with a previous version, but the app works great now. The developers updated the app to fix a problem with Bava Metzia, so now I'm happy. You don't need to download the tzuras hadaf, it's all there, and it's easy to search and select. Thanks

Nice having good quality daf but sometimes you get the wrong daf on daf view. Very frustrating in the middle of shiur. More frustrating is not getting response from developers regarding the problem.

I was enjoying this great app and suffered the same probem as others with the faulty update a few months ago. Finally they put thing straight and i am able to use this fantastic app again. Highly recommended for anyone who learns the Daf Hayomi. Especially the option of listening to different magedei shiur linked up with kolhalashon.com.

Paid a good price for a good app, suddenly doesn't open anymore, still haven't heard from developers

Carry shas in your shirt pocket, along with an English audio perush. Really a great convenience when you are commuting

Was excellent then they dropped support so the app doesn't even load on phone. And no response. And now I see power sefer is so much better. And they will have shas in digital tzurat form soon. Unbelievable. Don't buy this. Get power sefer

Originally gave it 5 Stars. Now it no longer holds pages correctly. Pros: Very clear images on Verizon Samsung G3 and Galaxy Nexus. Clear menu system. Daf Yomi schedule built in. Ability to download entire masechtas in advance. Soncino translation (not Artscroll but good on the fly). Excellent customer support. Cons I had an issue with the default view not being retained in my settings. After I contacted customer support, they fixed the issue in a week. Very very good customer support.

How do I get a refund ss they don't answer

Last 2 updates cause immediate crash on Galaxy II smart phone. Repeated emails to support have gone unanswered.

Still buggy, same footnote error. When trying to read footnotes it's not little popups instead it's full screen. Then you lose your place in the soncino. On the HTC one, it's even buggier, half the screen disappears. Please fix these issues.

Easy to use interface,brings you to the daily daf automatically, very responsive support,fixed issues i had with tablet views within a day or two. would like the ability to change quickly between regular view and view with english translation(tab,button) without going to another screen first. overall worth the money and more. keep up the good work!!

Works well on android and easy to use

It's a good app, but for those looking for a tablet app, this app is made for phones. It will work on your tablet, in the way it will run and you can listen to and download dafim. But there are some pretty significant issues with the tablet experience. Split views, such as to have daf view and rashi view on one screen, are virtually impossible to use on a tablet. This app was clearly designed for iPhones and then made to work on Android - it does not adhere to Android design guidelines, making it confusing to figure out for Android users. Flipping pages with a gesture would be nice, and the "next/previous" buttons are backwards for us right-to-left readers. Audio works, but it will not save your spot if you close the app. You'll have to remember where you were and seek to the right spot, if you didn't have time to finish the shiur. The audio wasn't the best quality, but it works. Downloading individual dafim and audio files works fine. There is also "download the mesechta" feature. The app was a great effort. It works, but could use some love in the user experience dept. The price, while high for apps in general, is very worth it for shas in your pocket.
