Unlike most counters that count down to an event, the Count Up Timer Widget starts at zero and will count up. Similar to a stopwatch but counting minutes and days rather then fractions of a second.
The Count Up Timer Widget is simple, it's easy to use, and it's free. Just open the widgets menu on your android device and touch the Count Up Timer icon, add a label if you want , then tap "start timer" That's it. You can even have multiple instances of the Count Up Timer Widget running all at once. When you are done with one, drag it to the trash.

When I first installed this it was great. But after a few uses, ir stopped working. Specifically, the widget doesn't show the time. If you tap on it to open it, it is keeping time correctly, but the whole point is the widget on your home screen. I even uninstalled and reinstalled but that didn't resolve it

You say you uploaded a version that can. How do we find it? Several have the same comments and it looks like you have a solution but I dont know how to get to that solution. If it can let you select a specific date then 5 stars...

I set up this widget and it stopped at one minute. I can't find any controls at all except "do you really want to close this widget? " Judging from other reviews it must do a lot better than this --sometimes. I answer no to stopping it because what I really want to do is shred it, stomp on the pieces and set them on fire. Pet peeve: Android developers have some kind of religious proscription against providing info on how their app works. They like us to grope, guess and never figure out the best features.

I love how it gives you the minutes and hours since it started as well as how many days. Best one out there. I'd like the option to edit color scheme and such but overall can't complain much. Does it's job.
