What are users saying about MyWiltshire

Q70%
by Q####:

App is just a way to make it harder for people to contact the council. Better if they would just answer the phone and speak to people, shame councils are so anti social.

Q70%
by Q####:

All this does is direct me to the web page with the info on. What is the point of my details being in the app if all it does is direct me to a web page asking me for my postcode. Dumb.

Q70%
by Q####:

Absolute garbage. Make a report but no one reads it.....you will never get a reply. Complete waste of public funds.

G70%
by G####:

Having logged in I still need to reenter my details to find bin collection days even though my address is known. Where's the quick button to prepare a pothole report draft quickly from my current location especially if the motion sensors could detect the jolt!? I might as well be using the web browser as that's all this app seems to be.

Q70%
by Q####:

Wouldn't accept my postcode so couldn't register had to report an issue anonymously

Q70%
by Q####:

App update is asking for permission to access my contacts and device id. Not comfortable about giving it access to my contacts, and don't understand why that's necessary.

Q70%
by Q####:

All reports dealt with quickly and with plenty of communication via emails

G70%
by G####:

Unable to enter a report as the app continually crashes. Complete waste of time.

X70%
by X####:

User interface does not find the correct locations on the map (yes I do know how location services work). And only a very limited amount of options to select to submit an issue. You would be better off playing Candy Crush, as it's probably more responsive.

Poor app :(

O70%
by O####:

Whenever i try to use the app i am presented with a blank blue screen with the word home.

B70%
by B####:

the site refuses my id constantly so it is pretty dire

C70%
by C####:

Recent updates have removed a report I previously submitted and the latest version now just returns a blank blue screen. Totally unusable and a completely pointless app. Don't waste your time downloading it.

X70%
by X####:

Sincr logging in have not been able to get away from Home. Can't access Features or Log Out. Very disappointing, means I can't track the item I have reported.

C70%
by C####:

No good on tablet as buttons not displayed correctly. Regularly crashes on my phone and tablet. Managed 1 report in 10 attempts. About as effective as actually phoning the council.

C70%
by C####:

This is OK, its pretty well featured but there is also a windows phone version needed! You support android and that awfull iOS but no windows phone version? True say, android outsells iOS 3 to 1 so android is expected but win phone outsells ios too so please port this app! a version that supports wp7 not just 8 please, there's a app out there for WP that is similar but only shares info with other users, no way to report to local authority, this should be on WP7.8 and 8, WP is bigger than you think!

I tried submitting a report for a pothole, but this app now shows a location a couple of miles from my actual location. This is the second time I've tried reporting this huge pothole - last time they repaired a tiny dink in the road about 500 yards away.

So far three attempts to male a report each time simply get message error with report. Returns to home screen. No draft seems saved so all details completed three times and for nought... If it worked would be nice.... Update... 5th time lucky. Only worked so far on WiFi. Failed when I tried on 3g so may be transmitting problem.. pls make draft if it fails.....

K70%
by K####:

The app has basic data, such as names of councillors, and a useful page for reporting a local need for action by the council, but when I looked for a forest or park at 1km, 5km then 10km from Royal Wootton Bassett, a null result was delivered each time. Someone needs to link this so to the data, then it will be really useful.

but needs more work. Installed version 5.130 ok; setup and registration ok, but trying to fill in a pothole report was impossible: no keyboard shows only paste was possible on all but the first field. ...Relaunched app from homepage icon, at least the keyboard and some option popups now show, but still cannot enter the incident date. Trying to view reports results in Erro 505 oracle.dbtools.common.util.URIs$IllegalURIException: The URI is not well-formed, reason: Malformed escape pair at position: 96 note The full stack traces of the exception and its root causes are available in the iTouchVision logs.

I tried submitting a report for a pothole, but this app used an earlier photo not the one I took using the app. Guess I can work around this by taking photo before launching the app.
