The app has been updated in 2012 with a fourth tour along the Water of Leith. This takes you off the beaten track to a favourite walk of both Rankin and Rebus. Can't use it due to the 'restart' loop that you get locked in. Planning to do the tour with the app but that is now impossible until this glitch is fixed. Please get someone to work on it, can't be rocket science to repair, can it ?????

Needs to be improved as it keeps asking to be reinstalled. ! Please fix this issue as Ian Rankin is my favorite author and I would seriously love this app!

As others have mentioned, at first after installing the app it keeps asking for the app to be restarted. I went to Apps and did a Forced Stop and cleared the data. That seems to have sorted it out.

Wouldn't run on my Motorola with 5.0.2. Kept telling me to restart the app - kept on telling me.... In the end had to switch the mobile off and on to get out of the loop. Total waste of time. One day later: tried running it on my samsung tab with 4.4.2 Tapped it and it froze the whole tablet! Uninstall and forget. Pity.

Looks like it could be a good and informative app but the problem is that I can't use it on my tablet (hudl 2) as tapping on any section causes totally different sections to activate (i.e. tapping on the 2nd item in a list causes the 5th item in the list to open)

This is an awesome addition and tool to an author's great works of suspense.

Good app, lots of interesting places to visit but the app needs to use more of the phone's features. When playing the audio, display the images as a slideshow. When viewing the images, allow swiping to the next one. Include links to buy tickets for locations. When on the tour use the GPS to jump to the closest waypoint on the tour and show your current location on the map in case you get lost.

works on other devices, like Sprint Samsung SPH-M930 phone when it works it's great. love the map and videos.... A couple of days ago (it's May 28, 2012 today) this app updated and NOW it works on the Samsung 7.7 galaxy tab. Yippie!

Could be a good app. Was very excited to find it can't even get past the load screen as it keeps on saying app needs a restart and keeps repeating the same message. Please fix!!!
