HasItChanged? for Android
Features
★ Ability to specify individual update intervals and notifications
★ Utilizes Android's built-in sync mechanism to reduce battery usage
★ Doesn't just check to see if it's up (although you certainly can); only be notified when the website changes!
★ Keeps track of history of when a site was changed
★ Utilize HTTP content caching technologies to reduce network usage
★ Control specifics such as connection timeouts and network usage
★ Supports HTTP/HTTPS/FTP connections
★ No ads. Open source. Feel free to contribute!
HINT: Share from your browser to directly add the site. No more typing!
Please submit bug reports via Github. XDA forum topic at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-hasitchanged-t2911414
As this is a purely hobby project, no support is guaranteed, although I'll certainly try to do my best!
Note the Identity permission is necessary to use Android's sync mechanism.
I use this on reddit! It is easy and an all around perfect app
Thanks
This
I love the idea but a couple things need addressed. First this app should be entirely operated from the notification area once it's set up. Different sites should have there own notifications and the notifications should be able to launch the site (doing so within the app is a step in the right direction, but an unnecessary one) Second the UI. Just ask for some help on this one. A great looking app will go a long way towards this apps success in my opinion. Great work so far. Keep it up! Edit:crashing

Nice app
I really love it a lot
Didn't work on most websites I tried
Only found out a web site had updated after I vistied it the the app decides to notify me the site had changed!! Thought this app was supposed to tell you straight away if/when a site has changed??
Never opened for me! Kept reading that its stopped! :(
Brilliant idea
Good app

maybe checks pages but always reports changes even if different/experimental options activated
