Boomerang Notifications for Android
Battery hogger
Ran it on my HTC One M8. Worked really well! Unfortunately, it is a power and CPU hog. I have it disabled in my phone for now. I hope they fix this huge footprint on my CPU because it really made my everyday use slower. In fact, I was getting a huge latency with my SwiftKey keyboard until I disabled it. It didn't effect it initially, but after two days. Even rebooting didn't help. I liked the convenience, but I can't live with these problems.
Great idea and potential but the interface is badly implemented. Too clunky, swipe away then wait for the next card to drop down, then extend the card to view options, and sometimes if you're too slow you'll miss it cos it just disappear. Couldn't it just do a swipe right or left to show different options? Or a long press to delay notification to a preset settings? With the current UI I don't think it's user friendly.
I installed this and tried it for a week. It simply does not work. I've configured my apps and still get absolute no messages to save or save later. None, zip, zilch, Nada.
Any chance we can get a widget?
A great app that let's you come back to notifications later, when it's a good time.
Saw this from Android Authority but it didn't do anything even after selecting all
Does what it says ☺
The idea behind this app is great and it had been extremely useful in the two weeks since I installed it. However, in those same two weeks it managed to gobble up more than 100 MB out of my not overly generous data bundle - and that is while being linked to WiFi most of the time, so who knows how much data it uses in total. Sadly, uninstalled.
Incompatible with Nexus 6. Causes Nexus 6 to frequently reboot when Ambient Mode is enabled. Uninstalling app plus reboot eliminated issue. Works with Nexus 6 when Ambient Mode is disabled. The reboots did not start happening right away, but after a few days of using Boomerang, and then they were frequent.
Can't set timings to make that app active. I want the app's feature to be active for a set time
Seems to be unfunctional at Marshmallow 6.0.1, LG G5. Reboot does not help. I am sorry, I love the idea... Besides, obviously blacklist needed.
App doesn't work on MIUI v7.3.2.0 (in fact any MIUI version)
Very slow ... hangs all the time .. unable to remove old notifications
Seems to prevent some notifications (sms and email) appearing at all (Nexus 5). Uninstalled.
Does not work at all
Works inconsistently with Note 4
make it easier buddy im talking about "remind me later" feature like a little pop up UI ... !❤
I ran this for a few weeks and the app data (not cache) grew to over 2 GB and the app used on the the order of 100x more data than I would expect for an app like this. It brought my phone to a halt until I Uninstaller it. Phone worked great again after Uninstaller it.
Don't waste your time. When you go to review there is nothing there!
I found this app does what it claims, that said it became more of a nuisance than a useful tool for me. If you have a specific need to save notifications use it, otherwise I think you'll find yourself Uninstalling this after a week or so.
Battery annihilator. Number 1 wakelock on my device. Good idea, XNotifications snooze wasn't cutting it for me so I looked here. Needs more settings for quick snooze times more than later today (when?) later tomorrow (when?)
I only wish if there was an notification icon that replace the empty spot when dismissing a notification (in that 10 seconds)

Very good app with great potential for addditional useful features
Very useful app, handy for helping you deal with things later and keep your notifications drawer clear. Top app.

It started making my phone randomly reboot... I am using android N but it says it works with it.. Please please fix
Love the idea and it's got a pleasant design and interface. But it needs a setting to hide the perma-notification that's always hovering in my limited notification space. (Edit: they added this feature. Thanks guys.) It would also do very well with a "hide and save all notifications from X app until X time/location" feature for me to get fully into this app.
Worst and useless app
App usability could be improved though. For example, at least some app notifications don't open the deep link within the app, which I know is technically possible as other notification aggregation apps do it well. Notification noise is greatly increased, since even automatic system level notifications trigger it. One obvious improvement would be to not only allow filtering by whitelist, but also a blacklist of apps that should not trigger the notification save function.
Really handy tool, saves clogging your notification bar with things to do later.
The app for procrastinators
An amazing idea and a great implementation. Needs to be a part of stock Android! I'm also thrilled to contribute to the study. Is there anyway to distinguish between a user-dismissed notification and an app/system dismissed notification? I don't think Boomerang should appear unless the user dismisses a notification.
This is a good app and has a lot of potential. A great feature would be to auto save notifications, and a set time to show those notifications.
Freezes and eats battery.
A good way of cleaning up that cluttered notification area! having notifications hanging around in the draw until you actually need them can be annoying and probably counter productive, being able to push them away until a desired time is very useful indeed!
I just wish you the notification that you snoozed would auto delete after you checking it. No need for it to be there if you already checked it
I always wanted this and it appears to work great!
