I need to delete the camera's wifi and reconnect it to my phone each time. Playback is jerky possibly due to the reduced frame rate. There should be a way to train the previous settings such As wifi, led etc., whenever flash the device with a new firmware. Otherwise it is fine.

Terrible app, overpriced camera, very unhappy customer

App works perfectly. Can check on my car anytime of the day through the cloud, never fails. Keep adding awesome new features!

Can't get into memory because password protection I can't reset. Blackvue is overpriced even after paying half retail on Amazon. Can't turn off GPS function which wastes processing power. Video is very grainy and when I could get into view files, program would always time out before being able to download. Blackvue is not worth it.

Unstable wifi connection. I have to reenter wifi password each time I want to get it connected. Using Android Pixel XL. Version 8.0

Mostly functional, fails a lot, can't watch videos over wifi 50% of the time. Wifi connection with any of the 40 DR650s cameras I have access to has completely stopped working since updating to android 8 as well

Slow review of videos but biggest issue is the constant requirement of forgetting the network and re-adding to use. Would have been better with Bluetooth Imo. Wasted product.

Regular & frequent updates mean I've never dl'd a video in less than 15 minutes. Dashcam good, app painful AF.

MEMORY KILLER which causes it to lag badly. App continually crashes in its attempt to consume every bit of memory. Over the Cloud crashes constantly. App on startup checks for the latest update EVERY BLOODY TIME!

Latest update ruined everything. No WiFi, no camera connection. Buyers remorse.

Previously device connected to my phone able to use my phone internet on cloud and maps. Now no longer available.

The app is OK! What peeves me is that, on my own timings, it takes 30 seconds for the camera to announce normal recording has started. No more quick get-always. It completely misses perhaps the most important part of any journey however short.

It's alright. Displays file names instead of proper dates, doesn't play one video after another so you have to watch them 1 minute at a time. Very annoying.

App always crashes after trying to go back to the previous screen after watching a clip. Or trying to watch live feed. And when doing just about anything. Edit. The crash issue appears to have been fixed. There is an issue with connecting via WiFi. I always have to forget the network on my phone and retry a few times before it connects.

Worst app out there. Camera is great. App is a POS. Wont save any of the settings. The old app seemed better. Makes me want to get rid of the camera because of this app. How are you going to have such a great camera but paired with such a horrible app? Can't watch videos on your phone, have to take the SD card out and plug into computer. Which is a TERRIBLE idea. Honestly if I knew the headaches that this causes I would have opted for a different dashcam.

I love the quality of my blackvue cloud camera. The video recordings are great and the camera itself is very small and unobstructive. The issue I have is that whenever I want to see a recording on my phone, half the time it tells me that "my device can't play this file" even though it can play the other half. This is unacceptable and a big problem because if the recording I need is not accessible then why do I even have the camera in the first place. It looks like an app issue rather than a camera one.

Watching a recording and/or downloading to phone fails 70% of the time and is extremely slow. Being able to view the footage on the spot in case of an accident is a a key functionality in my opinion.

It took me a while to figure out how to upgrade the firmware on the unit (it came with very old firmware), but once I got it going, the app has been working great. It's fairly intuitive, and allows access to stored videos without having to remove the SD card.

June 20th 2017... Just purchased the DR650s... So far it seems to work SOMETIMES ! Needs a way to reverse the rear view image other than the 180deg. NOT RELYABLE !!! Some times it works mostly it does NOT ! The cloud is just as random as the app !!! Full 5 star when fixed !

Rubbish app. Doesn't let you login in and constantly crashes.

Slow download speed. Unstable software for the camera (downloads fail several times).

Frustratingly hard to get to connect to WiFi. Camera it still is fine (excellent, even). But getting the device to connect to WiFi is simply brutal.

THIS BRAND CAMERAS WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY! SPEND YOUR MONEY ON SOME LIKE THIS NOT ON THE OTHER BRANDS GIVES U HARD TIME DOWNLOADING . BUT BLACK VUE 650S AND UP MODELS R DESIGNED AND ENGINEERED ABOVE YOUR IMAGINATION AND EXPECTATIONS.

Way too buggy. Nexus 6p, I have to always remove the wifi connection before the app will connect. Also, password change prohibits connection. A new update is badly needed.

Not sure what's happening. I have an ASUS phone and this app doesn't connect to my camera. Hope this issue is fixed. It worked on all my other phones.

Privacy Risk? Norton tells me that this app is sending my SIM card data to Jiangsu Co in Nanjing China. Why is this?

The legacy was more stable on the DR550. Download and streaming on the phone via Wi-Fi is so slow that I can't do it. I've even dished out ALOT of money on a super fast SD card and it only improved so little. Fix the optimization of the Wi-Fi features please. Also motion detection is too sensitive even at 1. Still records everything.

Until this latest release, the app constantly crashed and barely connected to the camera. Now it seems much improved and is actually usable. Transfer is rather slow, but at least it now works on a 6p on nougat.
