This app gives you every hour a individual adjustable signal, which helps you with your time orientation.
The signal can vibrate, play music or rington and you can set quiet hours.
The app need only four permissions:
** Hardware controls: control vibrator: in addition or instead of sound
** System tools: automatically start at boot: If app set active, it start automatically
** Phone calls: read phone state and identify ** : Signal not played, if call is active
** Read external storage: to play music from sd card (for Android 4.1 and higher)
And you get more:
- Interval can be set in minutes. Play signal every 10 minutes or every 2 hours
- Start time can be modified, the signal can start at full hour (00) or quater past (15) or immediately
- Change volume of signal to media- or alarmstream
- Show notification in status bar
- If audiofile can not be read at signal time (for example usb connection to computer), the file can be replaced by a ringtone

The app does not stay in memory. I have 1GB memory. The app restarts itself in the background (stays in notification) especially when new apps are installing or the phone is using processor for something. It might be the scheduler I'm using.. maybe if this app used root functions it would be fine... Giving it 3 stars for now because of all the effort.

It goes of hourly but sometimes it doesn't and will only alarm 3minutes later.. So like 103pm, 203pm etc.. Sometimes rebooting device or restarting application works as a temp solution and on other time it just doesn't. Dev pls kindly work on this issue. Currently using JB 4.3 - Redmi 1s.

The only app thats work as it explained. Easy to use and sound level belongs your media sound, ideal. Very recommendable

EDIT: The option for "Protect USB storage" seems to now be missing from Dev options, so it looks like Google enabled it, then removed the option. Thanks to the dev for a pointer, +1 star for the reply and fix. OP: Love this application, but since updating from 4.3 to 4.4.2, custom sounds can no longer be selected, it gives an error. Had to uninstall it since the default sounds are too long or inappropriate. Hoping for a fix. Thanks.

After installed, apps worked perfectly on time. But after about 1 hour later, the signal turn on at incorrect time. Example, if set at 15 minutes from 00, it would not sound on time, either later or earlier than every 15 minutes. Why?
