LoopStation - Looper

Greatest loopstation in google play but I cannot use the pro version OFFLINE(needs internet to use pro) even if I bought it. Please I don't have internet all the time huhuhu. Same problem with my friends....... And if you can add an "undo" button that'll be great. More 5 stars is at stake and I would recommend it to my musician friends hehehe anyways have a good day.

Was good the first time I used it, but now for some reason when the metronome ticks on the upbeat of each measure it actually marks the second beat of each measure.... I have tried calibrating several times to no avail. I've had an iPhone in the past and used Looper on there... this is nowhere near as good. Really hope that you can fix this issue so that I can loop on my android device! Thanks!

Not perfect yet, but one super fun little toy - turns your phone into a badass looping device. Unfortunately, I don't yet want to buy it because it's missing some important features: Work offline with all PRO features. Ability to choose file format, such as ogg. Ability to continue cropping and slicing later on. Easily export all the individual tracks. Most importantly, to offer us close to the same looping potential of a hardware looper, it needs to begin recording immediately! As soon as we press "record" - go! Otherwise, we can't flow. And it's all about the flow.

It would be a cool app if you could work offline, but more importantly I paid for the pro version and had it for maybe 4 or 5 hours, and then it mysteriously disappeared from my phone and not I have to buy it again I guess. If you could make that right. I'd give it 5 stars. If I gotta jump through a bunch of hoops first I'd rather just not have it..

This app is one amongst the best for looping. But I won't recommend anyone to go for this since Everytime you update this app, you loose all your creative work at a single go. This is the second time I have lost my scratch records. Plz next time do come up with some solution to this. However I am still giving 5 star as it does what it says.

Perfect... very excellent calibration! Well put together... just needs effects. A limiter for ambient noise and maybe a high pass low pass would be great... tremolo or a slicing option would be insane too. Overall I like this app the most and I have tried a LOT! Quick responses as well!! Thanks team !

For recording loops and such, it's good . But there's no export feature to save directly to my phone. I have to record a "session" of the loop (which, the sound quality afterward is not that good) and then I have to share it with My Drive then download it from there just to get the track on my phone. It's a mess in that department. Should he able to just export to phone. Also, the audio quality of the recording isnt the best. I had much better with Anither audio looper app, but unfortunately, that app is no longer available.

The best one I found so far, but it could be improved: For example, more precise scrubbing and a way to extend recordings. -Also I did not find an option to adjust the volume of single tracks- EDIT: I'm sorry I didn't find the volume thing. Extending tracks: A way to make it a little bit longer so it's not 7¾ but 8 ticks.

Cool thing, works well for me. Feature-request: Mute-toggle-bars in tracks, that toggle the mute state when the cursor runs past them. =) Edit: yes you have this for the whole track at the end of the bar, but when I run around during the day recording samples for my next loop in the city I would love to be able to cut out some things in between... Or just to do basic cutting of tracks in general... Or to import samples from an app that can do that.

I like how it has some different ideas from Looper-Loop Recorder, but i will stick with it. Neither is ideal but the former is much better. There are some concepts you should consider: - One shouldn't wait all bars through to be able to start recording. Playback could start one bar before the end. - There are people who would like to add near infinite channels, bars, beats. It would be nice not to set any limits for them. - Precise people like to zoom in and synchronize their lines. Also an editing feature would be so nice.

don't upgrade. it tells you that its not recommended to record sessions longer than 1minute which makes the whole feature pointless. in fact, most of the time it freezes or it crashes the phone if you try to do it. stick with the free version, thats a nice gadget but dont waste your money, its not worth it.

I really enjoy the app but I really wish that Zuidsoft would create a small and easy guide to fully utilize this app. I only know how to add a track. How do I add effects? Can I loop more than 6 sounds? If yes please help. I love to make music with this app. Just teach me!

I stumbled onto LS and found GOLD! This is a brilliant tool. It couldn't be easier to use. I'm hoping there's a version of it for PC. I've only just played with the free version and am absolutely buying the expanded model!!! Thank you, whoever!!!

It's great love it better then it was bit when I record it and save it it becomes distorted. Also the sound effect are basically all almost the same thing which is kinda a bummer... Maybe add better sound effects more options?

Simply not clear. How do i edit a track? Am i psychic? Where is the user guide? thankyou for your response zuidsoft. i looked at the video at the top of the page, which demonstrated the app but does not explain its use. it takes several seconds for a guitarist to transfer his hands from the touch screen to the strings. so i would want to trim the clip. many anddroid apps feature a drag function to reset in and out points, enabling a trim. how is this done on your app? thanks

Calibration. The main problem I've had with this app and have had on every phone I downloaded it to. What gets recorded is never on time no matter how many times or different ways you calibrate it. Why should I upgrade if the sample doesn't even work?

This app was sooooooooooooooooooo great. I mean really. There is just NOTHING that compares. You have GOT to get this RIGHT NOW. If you thought that was sarcastic it was not.

Great instrument so far. Do I really have to quit every time I want to make a new recording? Also, can you change the pitch of individual loops? Maybe speed up and slow down

Seems to have major problems recognizing my touches on Sony z2. Stop button usually doesn't work. Metronome button doesn't work. Sometimes it just tells me "Wait" to record another overdub and just hangs there. Graphics could use an update. No idea what the number increment is on the bottom. Some kind of tip would be helpful. Seems like it could be great otherwise. But doesn't work for me as is :(

Play back is weak, can't hardly hear it. So it's useless for guitar. I'm still Trying to learn how to use the app. I could use more information about the app.

Nicely designed, but not good for anything but basic applications. It's well made but there are several flaws. If you use the metronome, the click is recorded with your audio, unless you use headphones, in which case you can't hear your instrument. This is an issue with similar apps, not just this one. Then, when you set the app to record, you have to wait for as many bars as you've set up before recording starts. So if you have 24 bars, you have to wait for 24 bars to click by before recording begins. The limit of 30 bars, is a shame, since a 32 bar sequence is very common when practicing jazz or blues, among other styles. with 2 extra bars, it would improve the usability of the app. Without the metronome, just recording your instrument, there is the issue of all manually operated interfaces, in that you have to stop your recording, then shift your end points to create a decent loop. I didn't try the reverb, I just wanted an audio looper, and I appreciate that it's a free app, and maybe the pro version is an improvement, but there are other apps that offer far superior functionality, for free. I used this for 10 minutes, and was disappointed.

Super fun, works well for what it is. Minimalistic, so I love it. Would absolutely purchase premium version but don't want to risk not being able to use the app offline... If an internet connection wasnt needed with premium, you'd have my money for sure! Don't hesitate to try.

Definitely not a very good app. Changing the tempo is difficult. You can't place the starting marker where you want to. And worst of all, there's a delay when picking up sound, so trying to recording multiple things is extremely difficult.

Good app but needs improvements. Give a countdown for the first record track and a mute button per track would be great! Also ads block out the top button and is slightly intrusive. Overall great though

I don't know if it's a bug that I'm getting our I don't have the updated software, pretty sure I do. Either way this is terrible. The whole point of a looper is for multiple loops to sync up on timing. This is always out of sync. Do not use. There should be no latency! Then again it is a dinky $3 app, so I guess my expectations were too high. Except that loopy on the iPhone is awesome, and it came out about four years ago I think.. With perfect timing..

The first time downloaded it, was before new year, it was still working perfectly, but then idk why every time i open it ,it's just suddenly stop working n take me out of the app by itself..help ! I really like this app so much but then since i had this problem, i didn't still quite understand about what's going on with the app..

Wouldnt load some of the audios once i had saved them. I had to record the same thing twice for nothing. Im seriously pissed.

Very functional app, with everything you need to do basic looping. Some little bugs, and some delay at the beginning of clips. Clipping manually is uncomfortable.

The app is good and easy to use. I plan to get the premium version. Just one thing, why is it that whenever i record a new sample i could still hear the sounds from the previous one? I use headphones everytime.

There's a delay that's tough to make up for in timing when using Bluetooth headset. Any recommendations besides going wired? I recalibrate a number of times. Love the sound quality and ease of use though.

Had a lot of fun with it, UNTIL I found out that the 3 mini projects me and my friend made cannot be opened after I saved them :/ App gives me an error message. Whats the point of recording something if you cant save it??? [Reply to dev: the error message is cut off and blinks at the top of the load screen for half a second. The problem might be that i named the files "-40 (#1-3)" perhaps it cant open fancy character files? If so how do I change the file name because i have other files that work]

I love this app. Super fun. Not great for complex stuff but it's a free phone app for crying out loud. This is a great app, really fun for recording simple tracks. A great addition to any improv jam.

Its fun but for some reason, its impossible to add layers. I'll get the first track going fine but the second one, even though I'm singing over the top of the first one, ends up off by a beat every time. I have tried calibrating bit it doesnt help.

Great idea, but coming from an iOS looper (eydy), this needs a lot of usability improvements to be usable. Calibration works okay via the phone speaker, but as soon as I plug my headphones in, calibration is way off again. Also apparently no way to clear all tracks or clear an individual track. Had to quit the program and restart to clear the session. If you mess up cropping the first track by tapping in the wrong place as I did, there's no way to get the cropping handles back. Frustrating! Recommend developer try out eydy looper on iOS and replicate usability features to make this into a kick butt looping app.

Used it 2 times, crashed my phone 2 times. Can't share files( free version) so practically useless. The recording itself is easy and user friendly but as it is...cant recommend it. Deleted it

Controls are​ a little fussy, and have to adjust settings to avoid poor quality exports. But for $3, it's well worth it.

I have no major problem with this app except for one thing, WHEN I SAVE WHAT I'VE MADE IT DOESN'T SAVE! It pisses me off when every time i go into the app i have to remake everything i created

Would give it 5 stars BUT it will only let me save limited time on session recordings. When I go to record a full length session it shuts down before I can save it. So I've been saving sessions in pieces.

Love the app! Thinkin about purchasing full version. The volume of the tracks seems to be pretty low though.  Tried recalibrating couple times but that didn't work. Would love to add single tracks to a new group.
