MobileSheets Music Reader for Android
This app has been replaced by a newer, more powerful version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zubersoft.mobilesheetspro

MobileSheets is one of the first android based sheet music reader applications available on the market. It allows you to carry your entire sheet music (or guitar tablature) library with you wherever you go. It also enhances the experience by providing features that all musicians can appreciate - annotations, a built-in metronome, music playback from your library, wireless bluetooth pedal support, the ability to jump between pages with a single click, and bookmarking. The best part is being able to quickly find the songs you want in seconds. Setting up your sheet music library takes some initial work, but with a free companion application for your PC, typing in the data is a breeze. Never put up with having to dig around for the sheet music you want again!
NOTE: This application is designed and optimized for 7" and larger tablets. This application does not include any sheet music - you must provide your own.
The companion app is for your PC and is not included. You can download the companion app here: www.zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/downloads.html
(Wanted to update a previous bad review but i do have the pro version and didn't want to leave this bad review out there in the could.) I had some issues when I purchased the original free version but the software is !Awesome, OK i got a response, and the dealt with it refunded me that money and i purchased the new version, LOVE IT! Much better llove the feature to add files to a lead sheet Great one stop shopping for a Jazz practicing musician with some aebersold mp3s, the backup process was a little cumbersome, as it did not allow selecting the folder but using a seperate app to move the file, but it worked just the same 3 stars up and thanks for the killer time and effort in this excellent what will be much used software on my new Samsung tablet
You are doing a great job. Very pracrical for my team of musicians who use lead sheets and play together over a 100 times a year.
Very comfortable software, of course mostly for musician ;), no print sheets anymore.!
This is verily a splendid application.
I bought this app a while ago and have been using it successfully. Today I logged on to the Play Store to see if there was an update only to find there is a notice saying this version of the program has been replaced by a new better program. problem is that I have already paid for this program once and new program cost even more I feel cheated UPDATE, Changed from one star to 4, By sending an email as suggested (as a reply to my review) was I able to upgrade to the new version only paying the difference in price from the old version. A bit of a hassle but at least i no longer feel cheated, It is still a good program and I use it on stage every week.
Every once in awhile when I pick a song it will glitch back to the previous song as soon as it loads. Not often but periodically
It has a major bug when renaming a file which crashes my nexus 7 2013. Also, been almost forced to upgrade to the pro version is not on! I have recommended this app many times, and now I feel cheated. Time to look at the alternative's. Think I'm gonna give musicnotes a try!
I emailed the developer over a year and a half ago suggesting it would be great to be able to freely move around the app while zooming. The developer said it would be involved in an update soon. Not only was it not included in an update, but there is now a NEW version of MobileSheets that costs money, money in which I spent on this app. What a slap in the face.
While I'd still recommend this one to students; professional performers may appreciate the Pro version more. I do think it's strange that while this app is paid, Pro is released with all the features we've been waiting for, and costs quite a bit more. Seems like this app should have gotten the upgrade (and a price increase for new users if the author felt it was undervalued). A whole new app to buy seems like an underhanded tactic. Makes me wonder if the author will do it again someday....
I love this app, and I've been hoping for a few bug fixes. I paid for this, and now there's a different version called "Pro". I am confused. What's the difference? Will this app continue to be developed?
So those who paid 12 bucks get the free version now, and then we have to pay again. Thats a kick to your existing customers, Bad business decision
50lbs of music now on my tablet
This is verily a splendid application.
Best android
I've been using Mobilesheets for some time and love it. I recently upgraded to Mobilesheets Pro, and it has some great features. However, I often create new setlists by copying and editing an existing one. I've found that with Mobilesheets Pro, when I copy a setlist, the order of the songs is lost and they have been re-sorted to alphabetical. This is a real problem when I just want to make minor changes from a previous setlist. Note that when I select "sort", manual is chosen. But they have already been reordered alphabetical when copied. Please fix!!
Been promising improvements to the app for very long and then existing users have to pay in full for new app. Doesn't seem honest.
I no longer have to carry around 3, 3" binders for all my sheet music
Perfect
This has allowed me to very quickly digitize and organize my all my music. I play in a band where we do a couple hundred cover and some original songs. Instead of lugging binders to a practice, gigs or just impromptu events I have it all on my tablet. It is written the way a musician would approach the music. It gives me more time to focus on my music skills than the organization around the paper. This app exceeds what I expected it would do.
I cannot believe how much this app has helped me practice my instrument more since it solves many of my frustration problems. It does everything I need it to do, and much more. Every time I use it and explore, the better it gets. Thank you so much for helping me increase my love for music, and decrease my frustrations. I am blown away by all the options and capabilities of this app.
I translated the whole User Manual/Guide in finnish language. Just download it from the Zubersoft webpages (PDF). Also the next version of this fantastic app. is gonna be available in Finnish also. Käyttöohjekirja ja myös sovellus on saatavilla suomenkielellä. Terveisin Kääntäjä Erkki Koskimo - Helsinki - Finland
Used this for the first time last night. So pleased with it. A few developments would make it perfect for my use. In order of priority.. 1) a quick to use song search within set list (scrolling through a list of 50 sings when the singer calls a change is not easy). 2. Instant zooming like all other apps. 3. Copy set list function, to reuse previous lists and tweak them. All in all a recommended app. Thanks.
My camera doesn't seem to want to download pics into mobile sheets now. Always worked perfectly before. I have a Nexus 10 Samsung tablet. Any suggestions? I've been using this app for over a year. Love it...until this recent issue with the camera.
Great app. Does absolutely everything I need it to do inc annotations. Great to have all my sheet music on the tablet rather then have to carry loads of heavy books.
Love this app but am frustrated when I start playing one piece, turn the page and find myself on the second page of the previous song I was using. Not a good thing during performances! Update: That's still happening, and now my annotations are vanishing. Getting very frustrated.
When I found this app I knew it was time to get a tablet. Glad I did. I've played many gigs using the setlist feature. I have over 2,000 charts on it and it still functions well. one great feature is the ability to change the screen to white on black so you can see the charts on a dark stage. I'm also impressed with the author's ability to respond quickly to questions. Great support there. All-in-all, one of the most useful tablet apps and well worth the money.
I play 80+ concerts a year with this app; I've been using it since Jan 2013. It hasn't flaked out during a performance yet. Thanks to Zubersoft for the great and dependable work!
Syncs seamlessly with PC. Would love to be able to sync between Android devices and between Android and IPad. Stamps need to include a tie symbol.
Please release the update. The features you have spoke about implementing are very important to me! Thank you!
its nice to pull music and carry it around in one device rather than having 3 books full of sheet music.
Now every time I try to add a song, the app freezes and I can't do anything on until I force reboot. Not only does an issue like that seem shoddy, but I can't add any new songs either! 1 star until they get this fixed.
I agree with another reviewer. Being able to move around the page after zooming would make a world of difference. I sent the developer an email, so hopefully it'll be added soon.
I am very happy with the way this app performs. It took some careful setup time and reading to get the desktop companion up and running but works great from there. It turns the pages without any delay, it allows annotation so I can make quick reference notes, and it gives just about any type of sorting option you can think of. The difference between the 4 and 5 stars is the storage options. The .pdf's have to be stored on the tablet. If the option to sync to dropbox were added, I'd give it 5 stars.
I have been working with Forscore for two years I got my Samsung tab pro 12.2 in September the same day that I got it I was working at night with this app It's super friendly and professional I recommend this app highly THE BESTT !!!!!
Can't rate this highly enough. Not only a very good sheet music library manager but brilliant for live playing. Nice work!
Use it every day as a professional musician
Amazing for me...Saxophone player
I'm still waiting for the option to display 2 pages in landscape view.
It does a lot more than I required, and I now can't live without these functions. I tie my training mp3s to each song for learning. The setlists are easy to build and edit. The annotation function is very easy to use.

Use it at nearly every gig. Much easier to work when your music is in performance order, but you still have access to everything else. If you're still working with paper, you're not going to be able to change music fast enough and it will cost you gigs. If your problem is size, Samsung makes a 12" tablet. Plus, when working out ideas tablet doesn't blow away.
