Spro2 Remote control

Never Ever had I heard or knew that a projector ever existed until one day I went inside a sprint store with my aunt She had to pay her Cell bill. She was in line and I was looking around and I happened to look over and couldn't believe what I saw, the ZTE Wireless Smart Projector. I played around with it checked it out and said to myself, "This projector is just way fun out and I must buy myself one of these things!" I got my projector from E bay and paid only $50 for it. Worked once and now it just tells me to enable the remote option on the projector every time I open it. Tried on 8 different devices. Option is enabled but still won't work. No response from developer.

Only problem i have is the app and projector wont stay connected very long but that may be due to so many wifi signals in my area. We have too many. One other issue, the reviewers who cant figure out how to connect the remote would have trouble reading instructions on a box of pop tarts. Settings / Projector / Control / Remote Controller = On. Got it?

Would be great if it worked.... This app really needs some help. It loses connection every few seconds. Now it is telling me to turn on the remote in the settings. IT IS ON!

App isnt working freeses and stops working! !! Asks enable remote contral in settings needs to get glitches fixed!!! App is useless doesnt work at all

I had no problem for over a week with this. Suddenly neither of my phones will work as a remote (both are unable to detect the Spro2). I've tried two seperate networks (routers) with the same result. Rebooted everything several times but no change. I was just using it last night and it worked fine. There have been 0 updates to my phone's or the Spro 2. I'm at a totally loss as to why or how it suddenly stopped working. This sucks!! Especially since you don't include a physical remote anymore!!! I certainly won't be recommending this unless you can fix my problem as well as a few that others have mentioned (like having to grant permission every time you use the remote after starting up the Spro 2 as well as the biggest missing feature of all.. Volume Control).

I upgraded my phone to the Note 7 and now it won't work

Only works when it feels like it. I can only get it to work about 2-3 days out of the week. I tried everything even reinstalling this app. Please update, last update was on 10/19/15.

DOES NOT WORK!!! Keep telling me to enable remote in projector settings. I have and it will not search and find device! Please fix!! Projector is mounting to the ceiling so I have to stand on a chair to maneuver. PLEASE FIX!!

I really like this app, just needs a way of controlling the volume remotely. Would be great if you could select which brightness to default to when starting up. Finally, it would be great if you could improve the connection stability.

I can't ever seem to connect to the remote from my phone... it worked for a while now it's broke.. huawei p9 lite android 6.0

App is garbage! Fails at connecting thus forcing you to use the functions on the projector, effectively making the remote app useless

Drops connection more than I like. Also wish it allowed for manual static ip so I can control my projector from other vlan but scan doesn't work across subnets

The app needs an update asap. It isn't very intuitive and requires an inconvenient reconnect as soon as your smartphone or tablet goes to sleep. There also isn't any volume access.

Tried enough does not allow connection always say switch on switch on remote on projector .... to.me its useless

Doesn't work with the S7 edge. It doesn't find the projector. Last updated October 2015???? I won't buy a ZTE phone if you folks aren't updating your software for current releases of hardware.

Never detected projector. Failed APP

on my note 4, doesn't find projector. why didn't they make a physical remote. this app needs to be removed from market.

Need to be able to control the volume or mute on the remote control app. If that gets fixed, I change rating to a 5.

I use it every night and would like to have two very annoying things fixed on projector side: 1.Don't ask every time for permission to connect the App. 2.Save projector brightness level, now it resets it to maximum after reboot.

This app works as long as you update to the latest firmware software package. Great app

same here. still cant fined the remote setting. i hope a new update is just around the corner.

ZTE asked me to be a beta tester for this app. Spro2 requires a firmware update in order to use the app, and AT&T has provided none, so as a tester, I am dead-ended. I will update this review once I get past this hurdle, and can experience the app.

Upate: after 2 updates still not working for tge se reason.. I bought the ZTE Spro2 couple weeks ago, been looking for a way to remote control it using my iphone, and when i found this app, i bought an android device just for the purpose. The problem is, it asjs to enable remote control in Projector settings > control > remote control. But no such category or anything close to it in projector settings or any settings in the device for that matter.
