My nephews adore this app. Simple for them to navigate, and the animals are adorable and encourage the boys to listen to the whole piece of music. And they are so happy when they recognize the tunes when they hear them in other contexts.

I know this is free, but I see no reason to believe the sound quality would be any better in the paid version. Some of it sounds like scratched 78rpms I was allowed to torture as a toddler in the early 70ies! And there's quite a few small annoyances: describing a modern (ie non-wood) traverse flute while showing a recorder, not mentioning what Chopin'si nstrument was, minor stuff like that. Oh, and funny things like Paganini's caprice on cello!

It's a fantastic app where animals are introduced to keep the attention of the kids on the music instruments. The trick here is to keep the kids memorized on theories, as kids find it difficult to memorize. Love the way this has been designed.
