What the heck happened to the app? Been using it for years and always looked really nice. The latest update lost all its color and looks about as nice as a 1980's commador64 app. Please go back to the previous nice user interface. The new on is terrible. Even the widget went to solid black and white with no color??? You need to update the playstore images of the app, because it sure doesnt look like that anymore!

I have been very happy with this app. It is great for tracking expenses, service histories if you want to go that far and fuel usage. The only gripe I would have is that it would be better if it automated the back ups with your google drive or Dropbox account rather than having to do it manually. All my other apps backup automatically. I defaulted my phone and found out the hard way... Everything restored except for it. Never assume anything as I did. Would give it a 6 star rating if this was implemented!

The program is great, except for the backup restoration process. Whoa unto thee who hath a full hard reset when doth android phone crashes. 5 stars for the program, 1 star for bad backup procedure. Update: the new merger with fuelly has made this app better. Backup is no longer troublesome. Highly recommended!

I write apps as a hobby, and this is exactly how I would make a car management app. The price of the Pro Unlocker is well worth it. Data export and import is essential for an app like this. I regularly backup all my aCar data. If my phone dies (which is has in the past), I can restore from backup without losing much (if any) data. Not only does it backup in a proprietary format, but will export in .CSV if you prefer. Super easy to keep track of things like oil changes and tuneups. It even reminds me of when these are due (either by time, or by miles). aCar will even log miles for trips, which helps for reimbursements from work. Entering the cost of maintenance helps me track how much my car is costing me. This is very important for older cars like mine. At some point, it will cost me less to buy a new car. With aCar, I will know exactly when monthly maintenance exceeds a car payment.

Works great and is very useful, so I paid to upgrade to Pro. Updates have been frequent lately, but not sure if I like the new interface . App is still useful though. However, there app crashes when editing the Service and Trip types. Hope this gets resolved soon.

Full 5 stars for further improvement on the following: ( 1) Reminders on mileage and date should be different for each different vehicles, eg oil change for car and oil change for motorcycle. ( 2) No reminders on other expenses such as insurance renewal and road tax renewal date, should be able to create various other reminders. ( 3) Difficult to refer full notes when doing edit in notes/remarks, just make it easier. ( 4) Age of the vehicles should show both from original birth and purchase of vehicles.

It is a very good program to keep track of vehicles. I used to control in a spreadsheet but the features of this program and advantage of being carried in my pocket made me retire the spreadsheet and import everything to aCar. This really changed the way I budgeted my vehicles. I would suggest aCar to take better care of motorcycle and maybe commercial trucks. But living in Brazil what I would really appreciate is the capacity of understand and make statistics about bi-fuel capable vehicles.

Well worth the money for the paid version, although the free version was so good that I suspect that many people never upgrade. My only complaint is that some of the screens have too many fields, and there is not a good way to tell before attempting to save a record which ones are required and which are optional. Some of them can be controlled with the optional field settings, which is nice.

Bought this app a while back, done with it now. Had drop box issues won't sync, app will not let me choose default backup to micro SD card, phone had to be reset twice and because of the app not syncing to Dropbox, and the default storage is on the phone, I have lost too much data to bother using it. If I am starting over, I'll use an app like this that has their own backup and restore feature. AVOID IF YOU HAVE A FLEET TO TRACK

This app is really handy, and the pro features add to it. I've successfully moved all my data via a cloud backup to my new handset when upgrading my phone. I do wish they'd add the option to change the location for the automatic backup, as it's only the manual backup that lets you save to cloud storage, auto is local only. Would get 5* for pro if this were added.

All in all, I'm happy with app. It helps me track my maintenance quite well. I'm looking forward to the web integration with Fuelly so my mileage automatically updates. One issue I have is if I miss an event, say checking air pressure for the month, and perform the subsequent task, check it the following month, I can't get the first reminder to stop. It should know it's complete when I do it the following month. Would also like to have ability to attach receipts to records.

Been using it since 2012...tried others including Fuelly website. Would not consider switching even for free. I run it on my cell and enter data on it. Then transfer that data to my two other devices. Runs fine on Samsung TabPro 8", 12" and my new Note 4. Can't leave home without it. 5+ rating in my opinion.

For a "car guy" this app is the best thing since the internal combustion engine. Eliminated the big box full of receipts I've been saving that list part numbers and warranty info. If you keep track of your fuel mileage and/or do your own service, this app is a MUST HAVE. The free version is awesome, but the paid version is even better. I can't recommend this app enough!

Over all very nice. Looks like PMS, 1 thing though on if odo was not recorded from a self service it should still be recorded for cost records purposes only. Most of my services are self sericed and have not recorded my odo. We use this kind onboard ships but in that case we are the service guys, it should be manipulated for records only.

I love this app. It's 5*. It tracks my spending, fill ups, repairs, etc. I've been using it for over 2 years and there's literally hundreds of records. I changed phones and uploaded the records so that I could reinstall them on the new phone. CUSTOMER SERVICE and SUPPORT? NONE! I have tried to reach someone. ..anyone...with NO response.

This has been a great app for me. Not only does it keep mileage data but also reminds me of up coming services. The app is always being updated with new features. Please be sure to do back ups, my phone had to be reset and I lost all my data.

This is my favorite of the vehicle data apps Ive tried on Android. The interface is well designed, the features are nice, and it backs up to cloud providers. The only downside, and reason I didn't give it a 5th star, is that it doesn't back up automatically. Having an option for it save to my preferred service on exit would earn the last star.

I had the free version and had an issue. Acar reached out to me to resolve it. This is really nice service. So got the issue corrected, then I purchased the Pro version. Great program. I sure would like a web version that syncs with the phone. I read somewhere that they have got a lot of requests for this, so hope to see it soon. Lots of great info, supprized to see what the car is really costing me.

I love this app and I use it to track all my expenses for my truck which I use for my small business. However, I don't feel that I gave gained anything by purchasing the unlock feature. I had just as many options with the free version. I still don't have an MPG calculation and don't see where the value is. Should have just kept free version cause it rocks!

The app is absolutely amazing and does everything I want it to do. I record all my services and intervalls and expenses within the app. Because of this I would like to have an online version which is synced with the phone. This would guarantee that no data is lost if your phone is stolen/restocked/.. and you can always look at your expenses on a big screen. (Yes I have filed a feature request)

This app was great until I had to export my data and import it to my new phone. Not only did the feature not work, but when I contacted support for help, they never responded. So now I'm moving on to another fuel logging app.

I have been a user and fan of this app for a long time. In fact I intended, and thought I had bought it as the features in the free version are so good. I realize that I hadn't paid until I changed phones and lost the data. Don't let this happen to you, but it now. It is a bit pricey for an app, but well worth it.

In 2016, not having automatic cloud backup is just inexcusable, ESPECIALLY for a record keeping app. I have 108 apps on my phone. After a hard drive issue, 106 of them restored perfectly. This was one of two apps that lost data. This app was the best back in 2014, but has been abandoned since then.

Love this app, been using it for 2+ years. This is the only app I ever paid for, and I don't regret it. I used to keep a little log book in my car to track all the mileage and maintenance, but aCar changed that. Plus the different charts are a cool way to visualize your inputs.

Backing up data seems to be very complicated. I wish there was a way to backup data using email or a cloud. Even when I tried to backup using my sd card then export the data onto a new phone... it gave me error messages. I had to switch phones and nearly lost all my data. I was able to recover some but not the past 2 months.

I got this app years ago and have used it for every vehicle I have owned, love it. But as things got tight I sold my truck and got a motorcycle, there no options for a bike and there is a good bit of reminders that have to be turned off after entering the info manually. Would love to see native motorcycle options.

If your phone crashes without a way to get the data off, you can't restore what was lost on this app. Cloud backup is standard now even if they just link it to Dropbox. Fix this and it's 5 stars. My G4 died and I had to restore from 6 months ago because luckily I saved the file when I switched it over.

I have the Pro version. Use it to track all gasoline and service expenses. Used since the day I bought my truck and it gives way more information than I will ever use. Graphs could be a little nicer but still handy for a graphical representation.

I have used the app for about a month now and it is very useful to me. The only thing that bothers me is a lack of syncing with multiple devices... such as my brand new tablet. It's sooo frustrating not to be able to have the same information in both places Otherwise it's a great tool for anyone who owns a car... this and the Torque app.

I have enjoyed using this for a year. So I purchased the unlocker. Saw a few reviews about lost data. So I went to backup and noticed the file was going to internal storage. I moved it to external sd card. I tested backup again and it continues to backup to internal storage. So basically, it doesn't backup unless you move the file yourself. Not sure how difficult it would be to restore should my tablet need resetting.

Wish i had of known about this app much earlier. It tracks everything i need and the ability to customise and add even more if needed. The other app i was using doesn't even come close to this one, and the other app is no longer supported and they dont answer emails either. 10 out of 10 aCar.

Great functionality if not the prettiest app. One small feature request. I use the "Add Fill Up" shortcut to input my fill ups. After saving the fill up it dumps me back out to the homescreen. This means I have to go back into the app to see the MPG for that fill up. It would be great to have the option to have a notification pop up when I save the fill up. Something simple like "You drove 350 miles since your last fill up with an average of 35 MPG."

I got this app two cars ago and have used it ever since. I use it religiously on every fill up, oil change, and maintenance of my new car. I kinda wish this could sync to the cloud so I can manage my records online. Sometimes we don't always have foresight to export and backup.

This is the best app of its kind. Moreover if you migrate from another app with rare exception they have you covered. Used for years and it just keeps getting better. If your inclined to track vehicle costs top to bottom then buy this today...

Set up auto backups, and when my phone crashed there was nothing to restore from. Three years of records lost for several vehicles. Don't waste your time and money on this app.

I used to think this was a great app, but then I missed a fuel fill-up and realised that the app was so badly written that the only way to enter a missed fill-up was to delete the later ones, enter the missed one, and then reenter the deleted ones all over again. Very amaterish. Worse still, there was no warning that I had missed an entry despite all of my refuels being fill-ups. Very disappointing for an otherwise ok app. Please fix. It should always be possible to enter a missing fill with extra prompts.

Yup I am a long time user of this product. I have every log from the beginning of 2011 to today. aCar serves its purpose by keeping logs on everything I do on my car. I give it the highest rating I could!

I have 4 cars at my disposal and keeping up with maintenance of them was a headache until I purchased a-car pro.

Started w/free app, then upgraded to paid app. I don't buy many apps, but I felt this one was worth having. Thanks, Zonewalker. You've made a great app. I appreciate it. Only issue: after switching to new phone, Pro Version won't work. Have had to use free one. Inquiry to support unanswered. Backed up files before switch; not detected or showing on SD card as FAQ instructions say it should.

Been using this for 9 months and it has been faultless. Tried a couple of others but this beats them all. The statistics are far more than I personally need. But all interesting stuff.
