aCar - Car Management, Mileage

Was a perfect app until they removed the ability to sort maintenance reminders by mileage/date. That was 95% of the reason I used the app. I emailed them shortly after this happened and they said it would be restored but it's been a couple of months and it still isn't. Restore this feature and I'll bump my rating up to a 5.

Have been using aCar since June 2011. One of the first apps I've paid for. Go "pro" and reap the benefits of backups and more. And now with the ability to backup and sync... love it...! Devs are very responsive with glitches that arise. Always prompt with assistance (lots of growing pains with the new merger in 2017 but they're making gains in stability between this app and their site). Top notch!

It used to be great. The recent updates doesn't allow decimal in fuel price and hence give inaccurate results. I contacted aCar support but no positive response.

Please bring back the month-to-date and 3 month stat view on the main screen. It's wasted screen space without it and it was helpful to see.

after the new upgrade that you did we lost the sorting of the reminders and now if you want to know what is the due reminders you have to go across all the list to identify the red items while it was so easy on the old version as you see all the reminders as sorted with nearst kilometres

Great I can edit my vehicle and motor, but seen need improve subtype with overdue service must be appear in the top list. For easy remember

Fuelly integration makes this the best car app I've used.

Big improvement over the old aCar. Love the sync capabilities. Wish that reminders were more prominent--provide an action screen for all vehicles that shows just what's needed to avoid having to hunt for them. Also, would prefer the vehicle selector just scrolls through vehicles quickly in order instead of making me tap again to select.

Love the app, just a couple of suggestions: Have some kind of summary on the main screen that shows last and average MPG, distance/time to next service, etc. One of the things I miss from your iPhone app. I don't really need to be notified every day when the app does a data sync. I don't want to turn notifications off because I still want to be reminded for maintenance items. Or at least give the option in the app to turn that off.

Giving a single star back for ditching those horrendous monochrome icons. Still missing 3 stars for removing functionality (like why can't I see all my vehicles stats on one graph like I used to be able to).

They took a perfectly working app and screwed it up. Functionality is impaired, many things that used to work do not any longer. Notifications are broken, but we got new colored icons? I couldn't care less about those. We should get a refund.

They took a prefect app and made it useless. I can care less about colors or icons if the app don't work. I regret paying for the pro version. Need to find new app.

Hate all the requirements to load to the cloud. This is my most useful app. It helps me maintain and track everything for my car. Be it gas mileage, repairs, spending, etc. It's the best. If you have a car, download it.

Finally sync works for me too. It's really nice to see when support listens to you and takes actions. The best.

Update disabled sorting of reminders by due date or milage. I'll rate higher when this is fixed. It's been a month and still not fixed. 1 star now.

Used to be a great app but now it is terrible. I should never have updated.

You SHOULD NOT merge expense & services in report. pleased change back to previous version.

A Good one to have

Still missing is the ability to edit (and remove) gas station names and address. This new version now totally removes any previously stored full address, so now you have to redo them all! Down from 3 stars, which was down from 4..no one is listening.

The best app till date. Been using it for 4 years without going pro. A suggestion: why don't you try different skin types to choose from in PRO edition. It can fit the taste of different users.

Great app. To me it only miss the support of a double fuel powered car ie a lpg / gasoline car. I know you can add two types of fuel but the km/L value becomes inconsistent.

Gas mileage widget is still bland black and white after all the updates. Stop fixing things that work.

In order to see real overall costs, I'd like to be able to add or set up a running loan payment, during the purchase of the vehicle. What about customizable reports or graphs, ie: pick & choose certain costs.

I've been using Gas Buddy for some time. It has earned every one of these 5 ????

Have been using this app for 7 years.. Had UI issue with update but it seemed like color is back which is better... Can you guys stop messing around with an app that was near perfect? Have your dev work on something else please. Maybe just compatibility with new phones. But please stop messing with the formula.

I've been using this app for 5 years now, and I'm really happy to see that it's finally getting updates! Overall this is an excellent app with tons of features with more if you go with the Pro version. The best update is the ability to sync your data on the internet! This makes it so much easier for my wife and I to keep track of our fuel usage on our vehicles as well as keeping tabs on the maintenance. Since the syncing is done automatically you now don't have to remember to periodically make a backup of your data, plus it removes the hassle of having to download and restore your data if you use multiple devices. Great job guys! Now if there was only a way to have a pull-down list and indicate your favorite gas stations, then this would be perfect!

Has been great for tracking mileage and vehicle activities, but recently I haven't been able to save gas receipts due to error accepting date of transaction. Hopefully support will be able to help.

It was an excellent app. Latest Fuelly version is awful. Breaks some custom seeing I etc. Syncing across devices would be nice but not worth the loss that comes with it. Guess I will be looking for new product. Update: at least 5.01 has color again. Still not able to sync due to incompatible data.

Been using this app for over 2 years. But I'm finding the more info I add the more frustrating it becomes. I like to note my purchase location and brand. The app records it, which is great, but only sorts the info alphabetical. Would be better if there was a sort feature based on frequency and/or filtering out data beyond a month or two. Why? Going on vacation I may fill up in a place I may never visit again. Yet it will remain in the list to pick from. Also it would be great to have it sync across several devices. That way my wife can record on her phone and data syncs to my phone. It's actually 4/5 rating, but have yet to get a response from the developers as to these improvement ideas. Lack of response makes it 1/5 rating.

Should give MINUS 1 STAR because aside for having too many problems, there is no customer support. Uninstalling

This is the best app I've ever used. It's so organized and the numbers and decimals are set up already that you don't need to type the decimal. I bought the pro version and have been using this app for 10 years. Best way to track all your vehicle records.

Thanks for working on restoring color to the GUI. Still the best app I have found for tracking maintenance and fuel economy for multiple vehicles.

Reset twice and didn't backup data as expected. What a waste of money
