Jamie's 20 Minute Meals for Android
Lovely app, so simple to follow while cooking. It does take up a lot of space though, I uninstall when not using it. ***Edit 5/10/17: app keeps crashing upon opening. Reported the bug several times over the last month but no improvement.
Is a good app, nice recipes but there are not enough recipes for what they charge. Please add more recipes!!!!! And I thought too that I would have the videos of how to make them, that's much much better than reading, reading makes it a regular boring app just like the rest. I would have expected that an app coming from a such a dinamic chef like oliver would be something different....and really fun. And this one is far from that. But is not a bad app is just to spensive for what they offer.
No matter what connection I use the videos just keep buffering, there is no option to download videos for offline viewing which makes it even worse. Please fix it. Other than that it's a great little app!
Great app. But useless to me now the video download option has gone and it trys to stream it. Please bring it back. Wish i hadnt updated from my ancient version.
I demand new recipes! Why is it so hard to ad a few recipes? Had I known that this app would never be updated, I would not have purchased it.....
I simply want to open the app and go to the dish I know I am looking for. I could not for the love of God navigate to the desired recepie. The carousal on top keep throwing me on random dishes whick I couldn't care less ! There is no way to navigate through the app...
Used to work OK. Now keeps doing some random dish and I have no choice. Then it just crashes. Useless.
There's no update. This is a paid app. Recipes should be added regularly. Disappointed really
Great recipes and the app is lovely to use, even on my phone, but in this day and age it really is an expectation to be given nutrition information with a recipe. Given all the work Jamie has done to get Britain eating better I'm surprised this app doesn't already have this.
Paid 1.99 just for few recipies, definitely not enough. However the ones I've tried are very tasty, it's just not enough at all. Dissatisfied.
I love the app as much as I love the show, my only problem is the fact that the recipes don't come with an approximate calorie count, it would be a good addition to help those of us who are calorie conscious and in a rush
Menu and shopping list on the move. I've never managed to cook the meals in 20 minutes but having a mobile cookery book is really useful and I have used it many times.
Been using this app to try out food I haven't made before, its making quite a chef out of me! Great customer support as well!
Just wanted to let you guys know, that I love this app. I rarely take the time to rate things, but this app is gorgeous. So much love went into it!
This app has a great interface and is easy to use. But it does not have enough recipes, and it doesn't give you the option to buy more recipes, like the iPhone version does.
App is very well done but has a lack of recipes to make it worth the money. Refunded but would definitely buy again if the recipe list gets bigger
Easy layout nice recipes. Wish there were more. Basic cooking tips videos, but slow to load.
It's a great app, very beautiful and smooth interface, great recipes and instructive videos. The main problem is that it doesn't provide different qualities for videos, so that people with poorer internet connections could see videos properly.
Last update wad in 2013. Is there going to be any more? Being 2016 it would be nice.
I demand new recipes!
Been sceptical about buying this for a while, but downloaded it and honestly no regrets whatsoever! Definitely worth download!!
Too bad it will probably never get new recipes. Other than that... great
20 minute meal if you practice, that a side if you like cooking and great food then a great app. Worth the money. Should of had voice activation so you can just shout next. Little bit messy when your hands are covered in meat juice and you need to know what to do next.
Apparently a bunch of green onions in the UK means one green onion in North America. 3 actual bunches in one soup is disgusting.
Could do with more recipes, especially some from his 15 minutes meals
Really good information about basic cooking techniques in the videos along with some good recipes. It's too bad the videos are streaming and can't be downloaded since a fast internet connection might not be available everywhere. For the inexpensive price I bought it for, a great deal, even if only a limited number of recipes.
Delicious recipes and step by step instructions are easy to follow. Also love the little technique videos.
Excellent recipes but the videos don't work on galaxy s4. Would have rated 5 stars if videos worked.
I use to love this app but please allow the videos to be optimized for offline viewing.
I have zero cooking skills but the recipes were dead simple
Exact how a food app should work. No other Ive tried come near.
While I think this app is awesome and well thought out. Jamie himself in quite a few of the videos alludes to the fact that there will be more recipes in the future. Is this the case? Having fresh content would be awesome. Update...Just saw that there is more recipes in the updates how often are they expected is there a schedule?
It's a good app, but I really expected more recipes.
I really like this, but all of the videos have a dark semitransparent box over the bottom left of the videos. Also, I can't work out why it's an 82MB download when you still need an internet connection to watch videos!
Hey Jamie could you please get more apps made for you books, on android like the 15 minute recipe book.
Please add more and I'll give a better review.
The app is great and the recipes are easy to follow. I just wish they provided calories and nutritional values.
Constantly switches from portrait to landscape no matter how I hold my phone when looking at recipe instructions. Very frustrating!
Cooking becomes very easy and quick with this app. The buying guide tells you what to shop, the instructions are very easy to follow and there are plenty of small videos with tips and tricks. Super value for money

Like the recipes, although was expecting a bit more of them. What I don't understand is why the app runs at background even though I have not used it in months. Even Carat says that by uninstalling this app, I get 48min more battery time in a day! Why does the app run when I don't plan in using it?
