ZoiperBeta for Android
Works like a charm although switching from wifi to cellular results in disconnects that don't reconnect. This might be a carrier issue but restarting the app fixes it. I'm merely stating this to the people that consider using an extra "landline" number on their phone as a second line. If you spend your day in an office with stable wifi you're good.
I have to revise my one star review as the newer builds are pretty stable. No more crashes. Now it's getting there :) The only minor annoyance is the lag when I use the pretty awesome option to select GSM/voip per call
Calling from contacts not working. Zoiper beta latest version November 2017 - when selecting a contact in the app, the dailer appears to start then says contact not found. No calls start from the contacts list. This occurs with or without dialer integration. Character stripping is enabled. Edit Needed to add the space character to character stripping list. Works great after adjustment.
Needed to add space character to number rewrite (because most numbers now gets saved WITH spaces automatically by native android dialer/contacts and it's a pain to have to sort between +1k of contacts just to be able to dial them by zoiper) so, other than an easy fix (and hopefully an implementation on later versions) ...an excellent software :)
Works very well. Only problem is sometimes doesn't respond fast enough when phone is locked and call can be forwarded to my cell number instead.
This app works great. But it does not notify if voice message is left on the mailbox. Unlike csip simple which notifies on voice message in mailbox. I use this software for my astrisk pbx.
World good. I don't have to look under the hood.
If you need to run a second line then this is for you. Add the details of your SIP account and you're up and running.
The app performance is good and never crashed. Works well from any network including over VPN.
Awesome sip client judt wish it could transfer calls
It is the best client for SIP and IAX protocols.
The only app that worked flawlessly with SMS
Stable, works as expected.
Excellent VoIP app !!!
Theming feature is really nice. The ui is more metro. Not a fan but more fun than previous. But the theming makes me appreciate the app more. Landscape mode is still faulty. In call the app switches to portrait mode, makes it pointless. Contacts feature should be more customizable. Like not having it automatically integrate with my contacts. But not a biggy. the multiwindow feature would be nice when it works in call, as for now works but not in call, it maximizes to portrait mode.
This app is awesome. The only issue I have still is that I can't use the app when connected to my VPN.
After reboot first call ringing but the following calls are silent. Edit: The new version 2.2.27 works great. No issues found.
Great app
Good app until latest update, which caused Xperia X Compact running Android 7.1.1 to stop sounding ringtones and other sound notifications on all apps. Only fix was to force stop and not use Zoiper Beta.
Rings on first call, then it's silent for subsequent calls.
Zoiper's dialer integration has an idiotic misfeature where it blocks cellular calling even when there are no VoIP servers available. This unfortunate decision makes the application worse than useless.
Great client. Seems to stay on in the background, which I want. One issue though, if I go to Settings then Advanced, the settings don't do anything. I switched off both the native dialler integration and connection status reporting, but those things are still on/happening.
I love the fact that I can call over WiFi
Nice app
As a Zoiper user, I tried using ZoiperBeta for its improved Bluetooth capabilities. Unfortunately, the people I was calling could often not hear me, with or without Bluetooth headset (one-way audio). I use the same server and settings as I do in Zoiper (TLS+SRTP), where I never have this issue.
I am using the "normal" and the Beta App for a while. There is no quality difference, although I don't like the new user interface. Only problem I have is the documentation: Where can I enable IPv6 my home network AND my server supports IPv4/IPv6 but as I cannot find the switch (not documented) it doesn't work.
Great app but the fact that it doesn't start with android (even when that option is checked) lead to an uninstall. Fix that & I'll come back.
Useless app, won't stay connected on WiFi, every time I check it says registration failed & doesn't attempt to reconnect automatically. Got my first phone call today & it cut me off after 30 secs. Old version works except for bluetooth.
The fact that it can not be used with a local SIP or SIP server not registered with your company made it as good as useless
Only one New Zealand VoIP provider in the list. Useless.
Literally unusable. Not a standard sip phone anymore.
Quality dropped down last 2 weeks.
Hands down, the best Voip app, use this on a daily basis. Thanks for making this great app!
Like it very much, better than old Zoiper, but... 1. Accounts should be more easy to access (preferably on main screen or in first menu level), 2. Calls that were "answered elsewhere" should not end in missed calls list Thanks. OK, got reply from devs, thanks. But, what I meant by 1. is to be able to change account settings easily (long touch maybe?) not just switch them... Nevertheless, very good job. Would give it 7 starts if possible
It's ok, but my callers say the line is bad. Vehicle Bluetooth doesn't work at all. My Nexus 5x did native sip calling perfectly this doesn't.
I can't seem to get this to work with OpenVPN. It just fails registration when I turn it on. Please help I want to give you 5 stars
Can't make calls. Difficult to register
Very nice. One feature request, I would like to be able to backup settings to Google account for quick restore when I change phones.
stable enough!

After phone change to galaxy s8 always have some issues with one way audio. According voice traces everything looks good. Looks like microphone issue. It appears for 90% of incoming calls. Outgoing calls are fine. Update: for one way audio call when putting it on-hold (pause) and then unhold - audio recovers. Seems not microphone issue.
