ZANavi for Android

1. Map is not oriented to the north. It rotates randomly. 2. It kills map index after 5 seconds of usage and asks to reload ALL MAPS AGAIN.

I like open source. It's not perfect but worth having as a backup for the offline maps

Been using it daily as a Car Gps and works better than a tom tom! (more acuratte in giving directions). Offers SD card map storage! Should have in the future, I hope, a specific feature for walking directions and recording tracks. Perfect! Thank you Zoff!

Just install it do not think.....its just awesome....good offline gps navigator.....works good

I was unable to download maps, even the countries borders. Keep getting download failed. There is also a weird bug in the notification bar when using the app, it looks like the background is made with grey noise. Unusable for me right now. Will try again in a few months.

Used to be great, doesn't open with Android 5 lollipop

this is the best free cycle route planning app because: 1. it's offline 2. its free 3. it does voice turn by turn 4. it does waypoints 5. supports pre-planning of routes by judicious use of the saved 'recent destinations' which can be quickly loaded on day of ride. its far from perfect, and maps detail could be a lot better, but given it ticks the boxes above, and no other app does, it gets five stars from me, we should all do a donation to this and it might get even better

Excellent port of Navit so far. Runs great on HTC G2. Please download the donate version for only 1 USD if you like it. Support the project and have an excellent, data free alternative to Google Maps.

needs some help from the devs. Unfortunately this app is unreliable. Don't have time to restart an app while driving.

Really good and works offline.No data connection needs.Only missing night mode to be perfect.

Works fine, but the graphics can be better.

It works on xpera X 10. but New zealand maps are not good enough to see at needs improvement.

Much better than Navit. Still lacks some features, but hey, its free. Hard to download some maps, too big, too easy to cancel download and there is no continue.

extremely poor for brasil

Works fantastic on my Xperia X10i. After hours of searching and trying, this one did what I want. Search offline address, set as start, search destination, set "to here" and listen to the voice saying turn right! All with gprs and wifi off.

Address entry needs improvement. It's fine if I just enter a city and state, but when I enter a street name it usually finds 20 results, none of which is what I need

Worked at first, but then I set the destination and exited. I tried to reopen the program, but it will not open anymore.

Great navigation for free. Quite a piece of work. I use it in Europe and the Openstreetmaps it uses are acurate and up-to-date.

This is a freeware SatNav app. It sometimes works, but quite often, it is unable to plot a route. It is quite easy to use, but it can only locate a destination from a post code or street name while you are online. If you really need a freeware SatNav app, then Mapfactor Navigator is more reliable, but harder to use. ZA Navi does show promise. Why not download it and give it a whirl?

No maps for Pakistan and many other counties I travel to. Not really an app for many, at least not for me. Uninstalling.

Not working

I've always liked this app because it is by far the best one for off line use. In the past I have had a problem at times with having to reload maps after updates. This was not too much of a problem because one of the great features of this app is you can --very easily-- download maps straight to your phone. With the latest update I no longer have to reload maps after the app is updated. I applaud the developers of this app for this improvement because it was apparently a problem for only a small number of users. Thank you for this great app! Scores over most rivals (paid and not) by up to date offline maps, letting you know when wrong turn taken and spoken street names - useful for bikers using earphones! Can import gpx files from My Tracks or poi's from PoiPlaza (for example) if you spend a bit of time learning how. Handy Google Maps integration. Only small snag is last second instructions at roundabouts. Great navigator tho, thanks!

Oh, no maps for South East Asia like Singapore, Malaysia, etc etc... Wish that developer can include them too...
