Using tablet or smart phone as entertainment while in the plane excellent. Any can users can watch/listen whatever he/she wants. However, of course, it will drain the battery. There will not enough power left after the flight or worst things happens , dead battery(especially, for the passengers that use smart phone only). If posible, They should provide a charging station in the plane if they wants the passengers to use our own personal electronics as media player. A long flight without entertainment is really boring.

Why would this app need access to my photos, files, and documents to watch movies? PAL is too cheap to install and maintain monitors on every seat

Good app, although the inflight contents are a bit old, otherwise a 5 star app.

The app is good but it needs more updated content. Magazines still in the month of May? But for some reason, the inflight map showed me a black screen on the return flight.

I have a few Android devices and I have not been able to connect any of them on multiple flights. Come on PAL.

Was supposed to give 5 stars if not for the apk file that wouldn't install and the ground staff not informing me about the new app.

Connected as per instructions but did not work at all. Waste of time and effort.

Joke of a plane, no entertainment system on board except this player that they expect you to use with your own device = no battery left as the plane is so old that it doesn't even have USB ports or any outlets. Worst flight experience. They hand out measly ipads which have a handful of films. So awkward to hold especially if there is food, again why no built in displays on the seats in front? Whole flight was a mess. Never again. It shows as well, plane was 60% full Manila to London.

Well although I really like this app that Philippine Airlines did if you would ask me what plane will i ride I choose PAL they have inflight entertanment Overall I would give this a 5 star rating

Tried it. It keeps saying that I have to enable WIFI even though I already did.

Bring back the monitors, you are making your passengers life miserable.

For the connection to ravi server failed popup, it maybe more helpful if you change it to a more user friendly message as passengers does not even know what the ravi server is.

Not convenient at all..you need to buy onboard wifi credit yo get connected to net and then you can use ..

Unless you're using IPAD, don't even attempt to install.
