Das Zelt-Musik-Festival (ZMF) findet seit 1983 ohne Unterbrechung jeden Juni/Juli für drei Wochen in Freiburg im Breisgau statt und hatte jährlich bis zu 120.000 Besucher. In verschiedenen Zelten und Freiluftbühnen wird ein buntes Programm aus Musik, Kunst, Theater, Kabarett und Sport präsentiert. Nach den Angaben des Veranstalters ist das größte und älteste Musikfestival Baden-Württembergs.[1] Über die Jahre boten mehr als 600 regionale Künstler und Stars aus aller Welt ein abwechslungsreiches Programm aus Klassik, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Weltmusik, Kleinkunst und Kinderprogramm.
