With the most recent update for back button as dir-up, I have to say this is one of the best dual pane file managers out there. I also use ghost commander, I just now want native handling of rar for that last star. UPDATE: Dev, can you add ability to sort by file extension?

Despite being an avid user of Solid Explorer, I find it nice to discover new alternative file managers.

Best dual pane explorer for Android I've come across. Perfect for tablets. Nice features, and dev is constantly improving the app and adding new and useful features.

I like this so far. I am using Solid File Manager specifically for its dual screen capabilities. So this is a welcome addition to my Nexus 7. It being pre-beta (alpha) I am still hesitant to give it # permissions. But well see where this goes. I'm in! I hope that a dark theme eventually makes its way onto this software. The overwhelming white is a bit blinding. UPDATE: I an thoroughly impressed by the rate at which this development is progressing. I gave a couple suggestions to the dev and within a day or two samba shares functionality has been added, and I have been informed that a dark theme is in the works. This may prove to be a great replacement for solid file manager!
