Job Search by ZipRecruiter for Android
Love this app, makes it very easy to send out your resumes to potential employers. Not wasting time on places that won't call you back , doing the surveys, etc. Some jobs require you to go to their site to complete employment application, but 9/10 are 1 tap applies, meaning shoot them your resume and you sell yourself. I have received many interview requests and have been happily employeed from applying to a company via ziprecruiter.
It tells me that my application has been viewed. Good job. If it can support multiple resumes because someone like me have different job skills... would be a nice addition. I'd add "hope it actually guarantees a job" but no app can do that. When pigs fly, probably.
This app is so easy to use and finds jobs however they do not check into the companies that post on here. I have been approached by 3 different "companies" that were all scams. They setup a interview and offer the job and then they offer to send you a check to get started.
The app has a nice look, user-friendly & didn't crash on me once. But I uninstalled it because of scam employers. Even if I did set my resume back to private, these scammers went so far as to post a job ad to get your contact details
I love this app! It is so easy to use. I have gotten numerous responses, searched amazing job opportunities, & for the first time I had so many job offers to choose from. Zip Recruiter blows all other sites out of the water!
Stumbled upon this app and LOVE ot!! It makes it SO EASY to apply for a position and gives you so many other related jobs that are similar to your interests. I like that you can just click and apply and then look for other jobs. So easy and convenient. I absolutely reccommend.
Takes the hassle out of the job search and provides custom tailored search results. Easy to access and utilize. If you wish to manage the finer details of your profile just log in on a PC. There's nothing to it!!
Can you guys work just a little harder at reducing the spam jobs? Seriously, I'm getting like a dozen invites a day to "interview" on Google hangouts, and haven't gotten any real positions through your service in months of searching.
This app is legit and helped me find a good paying job that I like. It's simple. Type up a resume or upload one and just tap the jobs that you like. You'll get lucky somewhere.
app is great at keeping up with new job postings and sending relevant ones to me. Only issue I have is the rather high volume of unnecessary emails I also receive - only thing that prevents a 5 star.
So far only one thing is NOT good with the app. Anything that is not through Zip Recruiter should NOT be available in the app, PERIOD. There IS NO closing the window manually to go back to Zip Recruiter. I have to dismiss all other listings that are not through Zip Recruiter to avoid wasting my time on it, which time could have been put towards something else. Also uploading my resume, it takes me through the same thing I just described, and my resume doesn't get uploaded. Have to do it through an outside job search. Otherwise Zip Recruiter is great!
Its the best app so far i have been getting alot of job leads but i really havent did much with it. So it really up to the person to keep up with the app. At first i didnt like it but even though i deleted it i would get text about job lead.
This is a great app. Well organized and easy to use. I applied for a lot of jobs, and they always got back to me within a week. This is where I got the job that I had for over a year now.
It seems pretty legit , I'd recommend if your looking for a serious position, and I like that it has a wide expand of work like whatever fits you ,u can type in say for instance, warehousing , Customer service etc, they'll find it u chase the opportunities the opportunities come knocking on the door, If your reading. This GOOD luck -Jo
I love this app so much.phil is amazing at landing me interviews.every week I have about two too three managers asking me to come in.I get so many replys that I almost get to overwhelmed and have to take a break from job searching and even than I still get emails up the ass and calls the following week.this app is great for anyone whos willing to explore new career paths I highly recommend it. You'll love it.
My only concern are the kind of jobs that contact me from this app. They say one thing but they turn out to be something else.
So far so good,I just downloaded, submitted my application, and already have 2 views on my reseme that I used to apply to two different jobs, and all of this in less then 10 minutes. I might have a new job by the end of the week at this rate lol . amazing so far!!! :)
My sister was a victim of frud using this app they took all her money and now she owes 3000 dollars. DO NOT USE THUS APP THEY DO NOT VERIFY ANYTHING ABOUT THE JOBS BEING OFFERED AND WILL NOT HELP YOU AT ALL.
It only shows me jobs that fit my profile. It's fast, easy, and efficient. It's as simple as laying in bed playing a game on my phone but with an actual purpose.
This app actually helps you apply very quickly to jobs thay fit your desired job description. Good job
Best job search service I've ever used. Love the confirmation emails from "Phil". Indeed may have more postings, but the positions here are better opportunities.
So far so good.... Haven't gotten a job yet... But it's early I like the emails tell you if it's a good match for you if not
I want my information off this app.... I have had multiple attempts from people trying to scam me for my information.
This app is so slow. I take way to long to even open a search. I liked the jobs but I could not deal with how slow it is.
One stop employment. I love it. And it keeps up with all the jobs you appy for so you can quickly sort through bogus job offers.
This app really came in handy. By the time I submitted my resume to four correct companies two employers were calling my phone.
I have gotten so many good jobs shown to me. I have one interview and I bet I will only get more too.
The jobs that are posted are legit in every way. This app is reliable, updated and very helpful. I came back for more.
I found my first job through zip recruiter and I'm looking for a part time job with zip recruiter love this app and Phill is always on target .Good job thank you Phill for your help.
Everything I try to apply for is "not hosted by zip recruiter". Its quite annoying. Defeats the purpose of using the app if I have to fill out a million applications anyway.
Only thing that I don't like is if you click apply and you don't get a chance to edit your app that is sent or be able to send a corrected one
Super skeptical at first...because, snagajob. Wack. Monster. Wack. Indeed. Wack. Ziprecruiter is tight af. 1st day 4 interviews scheduled
Love the new app and love what these guys are doing! Job hunting sucks, this makes it suck less. Giving a little bit of power back to the job applicant, e.g. "recruiter has viewed your resume."
Scam. Sends you bogus jobs that are really just pitches to buy into msm type schemes. Utterly unrelated to input resume. Avoid at all costs.
Gives updates on job openings that fit your criteria. Also goes into detail about job including pay and history of company. Love it!
Of the 25 "suggested" jobs, 23 of them were for Uber or Lyft. Thanks but I need a job, not to be taken advantage of. Uninstalling now.
It's a great way to look for jobs and apply I would refer anyone looking for a job to use this app it has been a life and time saver I also like the way it alerts you when a job becomes available asap...
There are a lots of scammers here posting and This is the second time they waste my time. You need to do something about it
Like this app I submitted an application and they viewed it 3 times that's a good thing I'm praying I get a call soon

App is slick and I have received interviews. There are a few things that need improvement. I wish there were better filters, such as minimum rate and distance from me in minutes. I wish search results had the same "Dismiss" option as the suggested jobs, and that jobs I dismiss stayed dismissed. The option to include a cover letter is not in the app, and is hidden in the web. Because of that, I will likely use the web over the app moving forward.
