Have you ever wanted to just tap your mobile on an NFC poster or scan a QR code to be connected to the right WiFi hotspot with all the security taken care of for you? No more worrying about asking reception or your waitress for an SSID or password?
It is possible if the option is set to enable a user of this application to see your login credentials, so that perhaps they could use to connect their laptop device to your hotspot too.
With ZipNFC AutoWiFi you can simply scan a QR code or tap an NFC tag to automatically connect to the secure WiFi hotspot provided by the establishment, business or person's home that you are visiting. ZipNFC can provide a complete service for you in terms of supplying NFC enabled technology already encoded to work or you can create yourself using our other application ZipNFC Admin which will create a physical NFC tag with the correct encoding for AutoWiFi to use.
Requirements: All that is needed for this to work is a 3G/4G network to be available because the login credentials are stored securely in the cloud ready for users to automatically connect.
This is a new application which will be developed over time to add new functionality which will be driven by user suggested improvements so please provide us with feedback. You will find a feedback button on on the About page of the application.

What's Changed
This version has no visible UI changes. We have changed the encoding a tag requires to activate this application. Please make sure that you have the latest version of ZipNFC Admin 1.1.10+ to be able to create the tags this application will use.
We have also removed the need to a 3rd party NFC library as now only using native Android classes which effectively means less code and much more efficient.
