About GeoFence for Domoticz
When you enter or leave your geofence this app calls a URL on your Domoticz server so you can flip a virtual switch.
If you are offline, the transition will be stored and send when a data connection is available.
Setup:
On your Domoticz server:
Create a virtual switch that DomoFence will trigger
Go to 'Setup -> Hardware' and add a 'Dummy device'
Go to 'Switches' and add a 'Manual light/switch'
Select the right 'Hardware' and 'On/Off' the rest doesn't matter.
Add the device
Now go to 'Setup -> Devices' and note the 'Idx' of the switch you just created.
Secure your Domoticz server with a username and password
Go to 'Setup -> Settings'
At 'Website protection' fill in a username, password and select 'Basic-Auth'
Now Save your settings
Open a port on your router and pass it to your internal domoticz server (usually through NAT)
(Don't use the 'Remote Shared Port' on Domoticz, use the port you also use in your browser (8080 by default).)
If you use a self-signed certificate with https, DomoFence will accept the certificate and only validate if the Common Name (or Alternative Names) are the same as your hostname.

A small refactor that should get rid of the last crashes.
When changing to a new library that schedules the network call to your Domoticz server I ran into an issue that was difficult to fix because it worked fine on all my test devices.
It should now work fine and better than before, calls are automatically 'stored' when a phone is rebooted or has no internet connection.

Unlike other apps which try to add geo-fence functionality to Domoticz, this one actually works! But it has two major problems: 1. Only one geo-fence can be added, there is no UI to add more. 2. The enter and exit actions are treated together, they cannot be separated. It would be great to be able to define several geo-fences and to separate the enter area and exit area functions (be able to define things like switch off a device when exiting the geo-fence 1 and switch on when entering the geo-fence 2).

Love the app. Just works like advertised. A feature request would be to add the option to insert and use a passphrase for protected switches to prevent adjusting the presence switch manually. (Just add "&passcode='passcode'" to the url)

I love the idea but haven't been able to make it work. All I get is Error: null. *** UPDATE ***: The problem was with my router configuration, the app works fine. Excellent support from the developer! Somewhere should perhaps be an explanation of the Geofence Radius unit. At first I wasn't sure should I put there meters or something else. Other than that this app does exactly what it says, five stars app.
