Beat Bang Drum Machine for Android
The Beat Bang Drum Machine is a simple, but robust sample-based drum machine intended for drummers, beat producers, percussionists, professional musicians, DJs or amateurs (loosely inspired by Akai MPC drum machines). The Beat Bang Drum Machine is a fun app, ideal for coming up with quick loops or patterns on the go which can later be used as rough ideas to make complete beat-oriented music like electronic house or hip hop.
The application comes with a wide range of studio quality samples and sounds (more than 25MB of kick, snare, hi-hat, bass, tom, crash, cymbal, ride, fx etc) including gritty-sounding percussions sampled with the classic E-mu SP 1200 (used by J Dilla, Daft Punk, Dr. Dre, Pete Rock, Havoc of Mobb Deep and DJ Premier). The user can load various drum kits (including kits based on vintage drum machines like the Roland TR-909 and the Roland TR-808) with the Kit button which enables browsing sequentially through various built-in drum kits easy. You can also load or assign drum samples or sounds (located on the SD Card) to each of the 16 pads with the Load button. To do this, touch the pad onto which you wish to load the sample, then press the Load button. A dialog listing all Wav samples or sounds contained in the dedicated folder for the Beat Bang Drum Machine will pop up. Click the sound name for previewing and press the OK Button for assigning the desired sample to the pad. You can easily record a loop pattern with the record (rec) button and the help of a built-in metronome set to the tempo (BPM) of your choice. You also have a loop-playback function (the Play button).
IMPORTANT NOTE
Please be indulgent and patient as the Beat Bang Drum Machine is still under the development stage. You have a free, functional and playable drum machine, though incomplete. Your feedbacks and suggestions for further development and improvement are very valuable to make it into a fully programmable drum machine. The Beat Bang Drum Machine will perform best on multi-core processor devices. Make sure there are no applications or other processes running in the background for optimum performance. You may experience some audio latency (known issue inherent in the Android OS) depending on your version of Android and the hardware of your device.

Very cool
(i updated to 5 stars after trying the top 15 DM aps...for a new development, this machine is miles ahead, even simply for the fact that the developer deeply cares about the functionality and improving this already stunning piece of kit to OUR expectations ).16 pads, dynamic punchy drum samples, minimal latency...awesome!! wish i could type in the bpm. Clarify: the layout is PERFECT....just the colors /shapes of the art could be a more classic look. screw da skins lol.. Great job tho mate!!
16 pads your on the right track.. Now.. Record, effects and maybe a little piano for bass and guitar sounds.. Its getting there...

A little lag. Not having the sequencer is a deal breaker because of the lag. Being able to adjust to the note to the beat is a must before putting any money into anything that has a drum machine. Just disable export and save. Then you probably have a better chance at getting my money. One more thing you just gave me every sample that was on there something like 369
