ZeroTier One for Android
I reckon that one has to restart the device for it work properly, I am still not sure about the 'add' button for me it somehow was able to recall my network settings after restart...
It seems that current version (1.2.5-3) dies quite often when it's in background, when it's dead, no controls work, the GUI is simply frozen, and all I can do is force stop it.
thank you for your contirbute. a master piece. work perfect for me. it can help us to access to my intranet w/o public ip address.
Best vpn i ever try.. Very recomended.. 5 star..
Great app and service
Alas, on Samsung S4 i9506 with 5.0.1 normal traffic still seems broken
As with others, I am unable to join a network. I have rotated the display, and restarted the app and then phone when that didn't work. I gave 4 stars for an epic service and I'd LOVE to give 5 stars for a fully functional app! My phone is Samsung Note 4 on Android 6.0.1, thanks!
On my BLU R1 HD (Android 6.0), this works perfectly well—no problems with accessing anything else while ZeroTier One is connected. On my Samsung Galaxy S4 (Android 5.0.1) however, whenever I connect to ZeroTier one, I can't resolve any DNS queries. Previously, when I didn't have my R1 HD, I rated this app 2 stars since I thought that was the fault of the ZeroTier One team, but now, I'm inclined to think it was the fault of the Android VPN API in Android 5.0.1.
Can't even get the "Join Network" button to work, it's greyed out.
It's a great way to stay connected with my home network. I've been using it to monitor my home made IoT sensors.
Please let me us the system keyboard
This application was clearly created by the gods amongst men. It is easy to overlook the effort put into the application suite by the team, but I cannot give ZeroTier enough praise. I stumbled upon ZeroTier while looking for a Hamachi-like solution that was multiplatform, but ZeroTier turned out to be so much more than that. An open source, multiplatform, P2P VPN with web based network management that actually makes sense? I still thing it's too good to be true. ZeroTier has made my digital world smaller and bigger at the same time. Keep up the good work, guys. Don't think it goes unnoticed.
This is fantastic! Install apache guacamole on a computer on the same ZT network and then you can remotely and securely access anything from anywhere! Love it.
Once the network is added, it's great, but I cannot for the life of me get the join network button to light up for interaction on my Nexus 6. I've twisted, danced, yelled, and offered blessings to the gods and it just won't work. But, I have it on another device and it's fantastic. Have no choice but to leave mediocre review for lack of functionality on phones.
This review is only for the Android app. The service itself is fantastic! I've encountered many problems with the app. The add network button doesn't work most of the time. I have to rotate the display, long press, and hope to get it to work. The keyboard override for entering network details is awkward. I'd rather use my own keyboard since I'm already used to it. The connect / disconnect is very confusing because it doesn't show which network you are connecting to. As it stands, the app's shortcomings are disappointing considering how great the rest of the service is.
My comments pertain to the app itself and not the overall service (which is wonderful, btw). The app works very well, and I'm impressed. One bug I am having, however, is that after I leave the network and disconnect from ZeroTier from within the app, it does not kill the VPN connection in the Android operating system. In order to cut it off after every use, I have to manually go into my settings and disable the VPN connection for ZeroTier. Running Android 6.0 on Nexus 6P.
I very much like the whole concept, but actual speeds of 16-200 kb/s while I am connected to the same wifi as the server are really not practical these days. PCs connected to the same wifi get 2-5 mb/s and so do direct android connections bypassing the virtual segment, so it's something to do with the android app itself.
Join network button didn't work on my Nexus 5. Had to go into landscape for the button to trigger! Other than that, works great so far. Edit for the dev: It was not too small. It simply didn't register the click.
Works fine
The only problem im having is involving The internet connection while connected to a zerotier network. Thats why i gave it only 4 stars, but hey, at least it works.
ZeroTier is great, but the buttons don't work in the app.
Refunded immediately as an ip could not be manually configured on my nexus 5.

This is an awesome tool. One request, to show the network name in the recent history. It's hard to tell which network is which just from the ID.
Have PIA on my device. Had to uninstall this to use that again. Please fix

The add network button seems to not be working. Not sure if it's related to using cellular data instead of wifi. The service is amazing, but the app needs more development.
