cAndy Apple for Android
Sure it may not be that convenient without the full keyboard (edit: the option to use your phone's keyboard provides a good substitute), but I think this is a good way to do it for an Android emulator. The 2-button joystick support and green monochrome are must-haves. Just wonder if it'll support paddles too in the future. (Edit: found out it's the joystick pad) The controller mapping is abs horrible. It can't do anything other than close the game and turn off the Apple.
Fantastic. But it would be perfect if: - We had an option to remove the top red bar - Even better: if using a joystick, an option to view in fullscreen, without any extra element, just the screen itself
Love the emulator, I just can't seem to get Oregon Trail to work. I don't see an option to flip the diskette. Any help is appreciated.
I can play Ultima on this i am happy
I'd give it 5 stars if diskettes could be stored on devices external SD
This is a really great Apple II emulator, and performance is surprisingly good even on an archaic Asus Transformer TF101 tablet. Sadly, the same thing holds this app back that was doing so five years ago, when I last left a review: There's no way to disable the awful touch-screen keyboard overlay and have the emulated screen fill the actual one. That means you only get a tiny window and most of your screen is wasted, even if (as I do) you have a physical keyboard, touch pad and touch screen on your device, and have no need for pointless overlays. This is still a good four-star app, but if the developer would allow full-screen use for those with a keyboard, it'd be an instant 5/5 review.
Loving it! Works great on my N1 (2.1)
Been emulating the Apple II on a PC for a while, Doing it on my phone and tablet is amazing! Best emulation product since aDOSBox! PS using any computer emulation is nicer if you also install "Hackers Keyboard" UPDATE: Yay!!! Newest version fixed for Lolipop, Nice response from developer +1!!! New version is easier to customize and use.
I like being able to play the old games of my youth
Love the app! 2.01 fixes the non-start issue. Back to 5 stars!
This is a great app. Thanks for making it possible to emulate apple ][ on android, alot of memories and this app has improved alot since I first used it.
Nothing beats LodeRunner ...
Totally RETRO!!!
One fault is that joystick control didn't re-appear!
lol, ty. this will be cool! yup totally awesome, catalog. got more roms from a site, and manuals from your site. perhaps put links to other rom sites. im thinking as well it could be cool to be able to submit disks (ie if we make cool stuff)
Would be better if you actually included instructions on how to use the emulator.
Backspace/Del key doesn't work on original moto droid. Even soft keyboard backspace doesn't work. Backspace/Del key does not work on original Moto Droid
To be honest, I don't really USE this much, but having grown up with an Apple ][+ and then an Apple //e, I really enjoy being able to pull my phone out and play around with some memories for a while. There are certain disk images that won't ever download, and sometimes the key arrangements I have set up for certain game disappear between uses. Speaking of key arrangements, they take forever to configure. But, let's be honest, this is cool.
Good UI. Brings back memories... Keep up the good work!
Amazing app. I used an apple II back in elementary school. I think I was 5 or 6. Lol. Great emulator.
No soft keyboard input on Fire. Hung at 1st screen on ICS.
Fantastic!!! I wish it supported large tablet displays, Runs on Motorola xoom, but display is still cell phone size. A virtual touch screen joystick ?
Works great on my tablet! Runs without any problems on everything ive tried it on. A full screen mode is the only feature i wish it had
Wheee! Very well done! My droid 2 global's now a gaming platform/timesink O:-) At least with Robot Odyssey, it's an educational timesink-digital logic
Runs game, but joystick seriously needs multitouch and ability to hold a direction to work right. Good work so far. Desire HD.
WOW!!!!!!!!! This app is perfect for me!!! I am a die hard Apple fan and especially interested In the Apple Lisa and Apple ][ Computers! Just WOW!
Great emulator, keep up the good work!!! Nothing like playing the oregon trail and number munchers. Takes me back to kindergarten
Where the hell is number munchers! GAH! :(
Wanted to like it but joystick control on evo is a big fail. Won't stay held in any direction making lode runner and choplifter unplayable.
Runs Return of Heracles perfectly!
Very good app you need to have number munchers to download and play it was a great classic!!
I also used that computer when I was a kid :P . If only I could figure out how to get to the prompt that I could by ON...OFF-ON ... :)
NOTE: Dropped a star, no menus visible on new Verizon Galaxy Note 4. Was awesome. Wizardry Boot Disk seems to be corrupt, tho. Any chance of getting Russki Duck? :) Thank you, very polished app!

As an emulator, it is great, but it lacks an easily accessible reset button.
Is it possible to make the screen larger? Great application.
Combined with an MHL cable I'm in retro heaven
Finally completed Ultima IV after 29 years!!! Only suggested improvement would be to have an option of moving the drive and js indicators to below the display in portrait mode. Would help on small phones. Thanks!!
So far, I ran into a problem with the Number Munchers Game. Need to have the Space Bar Mappable so can fully work. Quite possibly will need other keys that are not available. The Soft Keyboard sometimes does not feel/work well. Also, the Space Bar would be needed for The Oregon Trail Game when Hunting. Other than that, this App Rocks. Due to the Limits of the Button Mapping, I give this App a 4 Star Rating.

This is a really great Apple II emulator, and performance is surprisingly good even on an archaic Asus Transformer TF101 tablet. And the developer is incredibly helpful and friendly, too, having guided me through getting near-full screen display on my Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet. All that remains now is to get rid of the red menu bar at the top of the screen somehow, and I'll have an incredibly powerful emulation of an Apple II laptop. That would've blown my mind a few decades back when all I had was the real thing, and honestly, it kind of blows my mind even today!
