ZBand Silent Alarm

I needed to arise earlier than my girlfriend. My cell phone alarm did the trick--for both of us. When I failed to convince my girlfriend that Ben Franklin's "Early to bed, early to rise" was an inspired maxim, I needed to find a solution if I did not want to sleep on the couch. Zband answered my prayers. A light buzzing on my wrist arouses me from the deepest slumber without disturbing my significant other. The software is simple to use and the black band resembles a sports watch. Highly recommended.

Brilliant band and app...I'm up for work every time now...saved me my job... (I'm partially deaf so noise alarms don't work).

Love the concept, and when it works, it works great. Wakes me up but not my girlfriend, and definitely not my cats or dog. The problem is that it works 3/5 times at best. Even as I write this it was supposed to go off and didn't, then set a new alarm for five minutes later that worked. When I have to get up at 5am, I need consistency. Unfortunately zband just hasn't been consistent.

I love this thing......when it works. Being almost totally deaf I hate having to leave my aid in at night. When I found this I thought "finally!" But it repeatedly fails to go off when I need to wake up. This puts my job at risk therefore I need to set a backup alarm to wake my wife in case I don't get up. I've seen other complain about the same thing. Can we please get some help here?!?

Works well generally. Enhancements for me would be support for non-repeating alarms, and alarms that repeat more than once per day. Battery level indication in the app would be useful too, as would a 'disconnect' function that would switch Bluetooth off. But, as I say, the Zband system does work as it stands.

I have been using it every night since I got it 6 months ago. I don't wake anyone else up in the morning anymore.

Now all of a sudden the app keeps on crashing. Installed in my S7 the same issue installed in my Motorola same issue. Company has also closed down so I doubt there will be anymore support.

I first wrote this "Everytime i try it or re install the app it crashes and i cant use it. I just got my band and haven't even got to use it. Help" and the got ahold of me riight away and fixed it all right away. Had it all perfect in minuts. Thank you. Loving it

Love the alarm. Wish it had a battery indicator so I knew when to charge it. I'm paranoid so I've been charging every week which isn't likely necessary.

I love my zband, both myself and my partner have one but just wish you could set more alarms. Please please pleeeeaaaassssee can this be considered ☺

Works well but wouldn't mind having a stronger vibrate. Even with the strength at full power......A little bit more for heavy sleepers would come in handy.

No timer countdown. Snooze setting for as low as 3 minutes, unfortunately no option to omit snooze if used other than for sleep.

When I ordered the ZBand, the one I received was faulty and would not work. It registered that I set an alarm but would not go off. So, I emailed Paul and he gave me some troubleshooting tips. After trying everything and still having no success, he simply sent me another one, free of charge. This one works perfectly. Not only is the product of the highest standards, but the customer service is unrivalled. I highly recommend the ZBand.

With a device this simple, the app and instructions need to guide new users through the experience. There, they fail. BUT! This is the first device to ever wake me up, but not wake up my wife. So even though the app itself needs work, it's worth it.

Love the device, I've had it for a little over a year, and am never sure how charged the battery is. Adding a battery indicator would be very helpful.

Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Is there a code?? Will try reinstalling

Now I no longer wake my wife with an audible alarm when I get up for work. Great product!

I love this alarm. The product itself oozes quality and the company is helpful and reactive. However, there is a very unfortunate bug (at least with mine) whereby a preset alarm will, after three or four days, stop going off. This is a terrible shame. The company was very good in sending a replacement, but this too suffers the same malfunction. The only way so far I can find round it is to program a new alarm every day - then it works without fail. I hope they find the problem soon. Then I'll give 5 stars.

I am have been using this band for at least 2 months now and most of the time it wakes me up. However, I have been noticing that there are times I still do not wake up to this rist band. I just tested that theory today by setting a time and waiting for it to go off. It will go off, but if you fail to shut it off manually it will shut itself off in about 20 seconds or less. This app needs a setting that control the number of attemps to wake me up such as "constant or interval".

I have hearing impairment in my left ear and when I sleep on my right ear, good luck hearing the alarm clock; the whole house is woken up because the alarm continues to go off or I use the radio and blast it. Not a way to start the day! I bought the Z Band to solve that issue and I have to say I love it! I bought the ZBand in Sept 2013. Took me a few days to get the functionality down but after that it has worked like a charm. Just recently I needed some support because the ZBand had stopped responding. They were very quick to respond with some troubleshooting steps and now its working perfectly again. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to get up to an alarm clock without waking up the entire house!

Revised back to 5 stars. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Have been raving about Zband but now won't go off since upgrading firmware to 4.3. Makes all the right signs that it receives instructions but doesn't alarm any more.

Awesome alarm wrist band. Minor bugs in software such as when the screen rotates it usually can't connect to the band and then the app crashes but opening the app back up right away ends up working again as long as it doesn't rotate again. Still, the main thing is not the app, it's the wristband and how it truly is a silent alarm. My wife is thankful that I have this as well.

Having been looking for an item to wake me quietly and without surprise for many years - in part due to a later-rising partner, but also as conventional alarms give me an unwelcome panic in the morning - when I found this I realised that it was exactly the item I was looking for. Wakes me easily without disturbing anyone else, plus the battery is astonishingly good: just a short charge every couple of weeks and everything works like clockwork.

Bought this so I didn't wake my wife and newborn, and has worked great!!!

I'm deaf and can only hear when I'm awake and have my Cochlear Implant on. My alarm system until now was a combination bed shaker and strobe light. Works great at getting up, however, it also wakes my wife and quite suddenly at that. This new Z Band fits comfortably on my wrist, is easy to set to proper time and most importantly, wakes me with a subtle vibration that does not disturb my wife. Simply Great.

You can only set six alarms, and there is no timer function. If there were an easy-to-set timer, like there is on most alarm clock apps, I could forgive the alarm limit, and give it five stars.
