La Federación de Regantes de Almería es actualmente el colectivo más representativo e importante de la provincia almeriense para la defensa de los intereses legítimos de los usuarios y gestores del agua de riego. Está presente de forma muy activa en toda la geografía provincial, desde Adra hasta Pulpí, desde los cultivos intensivos bajo plástico hasta las producciones extensivas de hortalizas de hoja, frutales, cítricos y olivar, entre otros.
