It was a good app, until I couldn't make a payment due to bad signal, still scanned the bill, but it didn't go through. My friend made the payment for me but when I got home my payment still went through. Thus a double payment was made. Contacted the client service support via email. Response was very slow. Took almost 2 weeks per response. It was told that I would be refunded, never got my money back. I again emailed the support. No feedback. It has been about three months. Poor support service.

Sorry, but I have to remove 2 stars, as not allowing me to buy a second cup of coffee is gross misuse of power. If I walk into a coffee shop and buy a cup of coffee, and then 5min later want another cup, who is zapper to deny me my coffee, not even my mother feels entitled enough to deny me coffee...

Was very satisfied with Zapper until I was charged double a month ago. Although Zapper acknowledged there was as systems problem I am still awaiting a refund. After 4 follow-up mails no response.

Very convenient and fast. There were a few times it froze and shut down and I didn't know if payment had gone through. Seems to be working fine now.

I couldn't find the tip settings. Scanned a code, tip was added automatically and payment went through without me getting a chance to change the tip. Tried to find the settings, but nothing. This is unacceptable

Good app, saved me a few times in a tight spot when I didn't have my bank card. Worried about no security though on the app

Can't add expiry date.. What nonsense..Sent email over 2 weeks back and no reply. Great care to your customers mate

Having installed it yesterday all I am getting is unwanted notifications in my status bar. Even though I disabled that. Seriously considering uninstalling it if after my latest attempt to stop it fails

Why does it need so many permissions? Nearby restaurants or says it uses Bluetooth in the settings yet it wants location permissions. Not cool. The interface is a total mess too.

I only use Zapper because I have to. Really annoying app that doesn't follow Android best practices. Taps into Bluetooth to alert you to nearby Zapper points, draining battery and being generally irritating.

The only reason it lost a star in my books is because a password isn't mandatory let alone suggested at all. I had to go into the settings to locate the password setup.

Did not even receive the verification sms. It's been almost an hour already. Other sms came through from bank so fault is on your side. If you can't even send a simple verification sms can I really trust you with my money?

First time using Zapper and it said my payment was unsuccessful even though money has left my bank account. It also said my payment was declined by the bank at the restaurant where i was paying! I'm done with this app!

Worked once now keeps saying card declined! SnapScan way better.

Downloaded the app at the restaurant, and it declined to male the payment twice saying something about my nank ot authorising or allowing the transaction. So yeah seems like pie in the sky to me. Will most likely uninstall / unregister shortly....sigh

Works well when it works, but always struggle at Mugg and Bean Canal Walk. It's more like vendor ignorance than app related.

Very quick and easy to use however I am concern about security it does not ask for a pin which means if you lose you phone or it is stolen it is easy for people to scan and pay if you save your card details.

My Zapper dont work. Tonight was the 2nd time it did not pay my bill. Not happy with it at all

Great App!!! With money off Vouchers and Coupons as a bonus. A good and convenient way of paying when shopping at my local Nisa Store. Which won Independent Retailer of the year for 2017 by the way ????

It's a great app, lots of free incentives and vouchers to collect. The loyalty card system is worth the bonus for the shops too, especially if you send as much as I do.

Worked the first time then after that kept on declining all my payments!!! I don't need this

Zapper team sorted out the activation problem, working perfectly now. Thanks guys.

Can't scan. I just get a grey block and then it freezes my phone.

Would definitely be a 5 star rating if transaction times were a bit quicker, as more and more customers are using this in my place of work, time is of essence when it comes to service standards

I update my email and afterwards all payments fail.

Hamburger menu is on the wrong side and inconsistant with material design.

Had payment glitches - two instances when a payment won't process.

My favourite way to pay ... I don't know why everyone doesn't use Zapper! A challenge for Zapper: when can we start to use Zapper to buy and pay with cryptocurrencies????

There is a pin/password option but it is not default... Transaction history is not persisted if you move devices, which is not great at all.

Trying to add my card but the verification code does not arrive via sms so I can't proceed

Much easier than taking out your card and waiting to input you pin... Much quicker shopping

Very convenient and I have already saved £7 after just a week or so thanks to money off vouchers
